I'll be visiting the Washington D.C. area the weekend of April 17^th-19^th. I would like to play golf on Sat. or Sun. that weekend while I am there visiting my brother and wanted to get some course recommendations. I'm looking for a nice course in the $30-$50 price range (could even be twilight rates if there is nothing that cheap) and within 30 minutes of Alexandria area (assuming there is no traffic, lol). Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

You'll have a tough time finding something in the $30-$50 range. My recommendation would be Laurel Hill in Lorton, VA (just south of the DC Beltway). The weekday rates are $74. Another course a bit further south is Canon Ridge just north of Fredricksburg, VA. The current weekday rates are $59.00.
