I havn't really collected any Scotty Cameron Headcovers in the past and had a question. He has announced the release of the Augusta headcover for sometime next week. I am a Club Cameron member.

How far in advance does he announce the release to the club cameron group? Or does he pre-announce the time at all? I'm assuming it's a hit or miss. Just wondering.

An email is sent out pretty much the same time the headcover is released. For the limited covers they sell out very fast. There will be 2009 of the Augusta covers so you should be able to get one. There will be other items released as well that may sell out faster along with the headcover

Are there any guesses on which day this may be? I assume Mon, Tues or Wed. based on the video.

Lots of guesses as to when....but all just guesses. Probably not Monday....and most would hope tuesday to get it a day earler than if it was wednesday. I would say the odds are about 3% Monday, 47% Tuesday, 49% Wednesday, 1% something is screwed up and it comes out Thursday/Friday.

what is the cost for club cameron members to buy the LE covers?  I would like to join the club but if it is $80+ per cover like some people sell them for than I will pass...

If you are a Club Cameron member, you can sign on and watch a short video of how this years masters cover is made. It gives you a good look at it. This years is going to be sweet.

You would know better then anyone if it is...I'd say its the same $72.00 maybe a pivot tool and some shirts.

It's a 48 hour window that club members can buy studio goods before the public can. A limit of 1 each is given during this time... when the release goes public you are able to buy up to 6 headcovers.

Alot of us think it will be on Tuesday... maybe Wednesday.

I'm not real fond of the new Augusta hc, either. Peaches and blossoms...no thanks.

I've been gaming a Ryder Cup hc since it came out.....but I'm going to try to get Boo to sign it on Monday. It'll no longer be a gamer.

I need to figure out what I'm gonna game....I don't relish the idea of the original cover...that horrid silver thing.

Maybe the US Open will look better.

The only thing that attracts me to the cover is the leather material. When was the last leather cover released?

To much pink. Looks like that dragon head cover from Tour spec.

The fruit loops and Buttonback covers were both leather.

True, but when was the last Studio store release of Leather? Fruit Loops was CS only and BB was limited edition putters.

If you get this cover, will you get pink or orange matching covers for your woods? Maybe a combo pink/orange?

Wow. That thing is NASTY!

I really like a lot of the headcovers that are released; however, I've never really understood why people spend so much money on them.

Join the club and you can get one, you sound like club members shouldn't buy anything??...plus this cover wont sell out, masters covers never do.
