Has anyone seen the new Foot Joy TechSof socks? The implication is that the anatomically engineered sock will somehow help one's game. Is this a waste of valuable research dollars that could be used to solve real problems (GPS inside a ball & never loose it in the rough) or a game changer that will allow you to walk 36 holes without so much a twinge in your foot.

Personally, I wear them for every round and for my workouts, too. They have a nice, snug feel especially around the arch and my feet are never sweaty after a round. The best part is the overall fit. For someone who wears a size 12 and prefers low cut socks, constantly tugging on my socks when they slip into my shoes is a headache. That never happens with these. Love them.

I have tried the lowest cut version and had the opposite experience. Heel kept sliding down in my shoe. Drove me crazy as I had high expectations for these. Ended up giving 6 pair to Good Will. I went to Thorlo Low Cushion and they are great. JMO

Agreed that a pair of socks isn't going to help the old golf game. I do have to say as someone who runs as well as golfs, I've used 'engineered socks' for several years (there are any number of choices) and I DO find my feet are in better shape after either a run or a round. Cheesy advertising can't change the fact that the darned things do work...lol.

I have a few pair & they feel great. +1 on the arch support & no slippage for me. The only problem I've had is finding somewhere around me that sells them. I say try out a pair first before getting more. Everyone's foot isn't the same & may not be for everyone. But for me I've worn all types of socks for all kinds of sports & these are some of if not the best I've owned.
