Click to view attachmentI thought I would share my thoughts on the new syncro. First of all, I am as much of a bag ho as a club ho. I change bags yearly, sometimes for no good reason. My last two bags have been Sun Mountain C-130's. I prefer a cart bag since I store my clubs at our club, and ride most of the time. This is my first Ogio bag in years, and I must say, I'm impressed.

Details:

Color scheme- I have the Black/Red Plaid version. I love the color scheme. Not to crazy, but different.

Pockets- Seem roomy enough. Water storage, small rainsuit, and spare box of balls aren't a problem. Less storage than the C-130, but my goal was to downsize from the tank of golf bags. I wish they had lined valuable pockets on both sides, or a dedicated cell phone pocket that was lined and fit a blackberry (hint Ogio).

Club dividers - I love individual club dividers. Its a personal thing, but its what I like. What I didn't like about previous Ogio bags (some of them) was that their club dividers weren't full length. They are in this bag and are perfect. The external putter well is deep enough so you don't feel like you're going to drop your putter out while hauling the bag. Only issue I had was fitting the bag in my Club Glove Last Bag. I use a TM Spider (branding iron). I couldn't zip the bag up nicely with it in the putter well. Moved it up top and didn't have a problem.

Over all quality - I'm impressed. Zippers function well, no issues so far. Nervous about the zipperless ball pocket in the front and if it wears over time. They seem to have had these on their bags for a while, so my fears are probably just that.

So if you're in the market for a new cart bag, and don't want to have to much of a tank, check out the new Syncro.

How is the zipperless ball pocket holding up? Does it stay closed?

I have a 3 or 4 years old Ogio bag (I bought it used a couple of years ago) with a ziperless ball pocket and it is great. No issues what so ever and I play about 100 rounds / year. It stays closed, it is easy to reach in and well made.

So far so good. Need a full season to really review that (has me concerned but they've kept the same design for the past few seasons)

I was reading that this bag was designed for pull carts, how does it hold up on a regular cart? Any issues with the cart strap interfering? Most courses I play require carts these days and I'm looking for a good cart bag. The Syncro is at the top of the list right now but curious to hear your thoughts.

I haven't had any issues on the regular cart. It has Ogio's stabilization strap on the back which helps (not sure what the real name for it is).
