I been put in charge of an outing for alumni from my college. Where can I go do buy favors in bulk. Also what are some of the best gifts you guys have gotten at outings.

I was thinking of a shoe bag and having it embriodered and putting balls and some tees in them. Basically looking for suggestions.

sounds expensive, what's your budget?

I would start by speaking with the golf course that you are using. They are usually very experienced in setting these events up and can give you some great suggestions and maybe even a source for whatever you want to get. Often the favors are customized with the event name or some such info.

I received a nice little soft cooler bag last year at an event. Maybe cost someone $5 in bulk... but I use it almost every day to take lunch to work which saves me a ton of money in a bad economy... so I think it's a great gift. Point is, the favors don't have to be golf related, but it's nice if they are.

The big question is "what's your budget?" I have gotten everything from a bag of tees, shoes, wedges, leather notebook and Scotty Cameron Putter. You could contact AME Headcovers and get some putter or Driver Headcovers done in school colors with Logo...that won't break the bank. Plus, most would probably use it. I think once you let everyone know how much you can spend you'll get some great inputs.
