I'm looking for a push cart, but don't what to buy. I like the riksha but they are very hard to come by. What are you using or have you used and would you reccomend it?

Thanks

I like the looks of the Clicgear 2.0 the best although I am not personally using a cart (yet).

Oh and I forgot to mention, it has to be one that folds down so it can fit in my trunk (I know 99%) are, but there is a non-folding version of the riksha so I'm assuming other models are also non-folding.

clicgear 2.0
fits great in the trunk and has clip on shoe brushes
new accessories coming in 2009
come on pony keg holder...

have you seen the riksha with pins that easily remove for quick and easy breakdown? i can get you one if you want....

If not I may wait for the Micro from Sun Mountain - very sweet push cart! And alot lighter than the Clic or regular sun mountain...

That is the exact riksha I am looking for. I just sent ya a pm

I have the Sun Mountain SpeedCart V1.

Virtually effortless to push. I would recommend it.

Loomsey,

You can't go wrong I have used an R-1000 for years and just recently got an R-3000 so I could take it apart to fit in my BMW convertibles trunk, hands down the best looking and best functioning push cart ever made! Great company, a real mom and pop operation that is always willing to help you out.

My son and I both have Clicgear 2.0 carts. He is 11 and has no problem opening/closing and handling the cart on the course.

They also break down small enough that I can fit two of them in the car (I have a small SUV) with two sets of clubs and some other gadgets.

If an 11 year old can handle it...

I just have experience with the Sun Mtn. and Clicgear but I think it comes down to how hilly the courses are you play on. Lots of hills to climb the SM is easier to push and climb hills with. Not as hilly the Clicgear is a more stable cart with good sturdy wheels you will not have to worry about keeping air in. They both fold pretty easily and store relatively small. IMHO you can't go wrong with either I would just look at the course and make a decision based on elevation changes. Also I did have a little trouble getting a bag to sit correctly on the Clicgear. My Ogio had cletes on the bottom that rubbed the front wheel. Take your full bag and try the fit out.

Don't know anything about the R-3000 but it looks like this thing to me.

I just pulled the trigger on a Clicgear 2.0 from DiscountDansGolf. Friday they posted on Golfwrx and it was perfect timing......$169 shipped

Ace, at my old club in S'toon they had the R-1000 and I loved them. I remember the first time I saw them I thought they were pretty nast, but after one round I was sold. I wanted the R-3000 this time though because I play two different courses regularly so I wanted something that I could take with me wherever.

The R-3000 was $184 Canadian plus shipping. They charge actual shipping costs so its different depending on where you live.

Check them out online www.theriksha.com

Can't go wrong with one of these...best cart our there imo.

+1 on the Clicgear from DD's. Outstanding cart...folds down nicely and takes minimal room...easy to open and close.
