For those of you that have this bag whats your likes and dislikes? I like the color pattern of this bag better than the Sun Mountain four 5 plus it has a external putter tube. Also is the top set up the same as the four 5? I dont know to get this bag or keep using my Nike Pro Combo Tour bag rolleyes.gif

I love the external putter well. I can take the head cover off my putter and not replace it all day and know that its not going to touch another club. This helps my pace of play. Legs function perfectly. Plenty of pockets. The individual dividers work without issue.

The bag is too heavy to walk with. To me, its missing a handle for loading and unloading. I'm used to having a handle in the middle of the bag. The MBP has handles top and bottom -- sort of awkward, I usually just grab the putter tube and the top handle.

One thing that really bugs me is that I have to angle it to fit in the bag well of the carts at my course.

Overall its a well made bag, not sure if I'd buy it again though. If I find one as well made that's lighter with an external putter well -- I'm switching.

I have a 2 year old MPB that I use. I like the way it fits on my Sun Mountain carts and how it
fits on the riding carts I use.

It needs a bigger cooler pocket for one thing.

The lack of a handle in the middle back isn't that big of a deal for me, but I can see where it could be.

I have carried my clubs with it for nine holes and it is comfortable.

I haven't regretted buying it.

I take it the MPB would sit ok on a V1 Speed Cart then? I'm looking for a push cart bag for when it get's hotter and I switch over to my Speed Cart full time. I was thinking about an SCB but would rather have a bag with legs.

I just got this bag a couple weeks ago after looking at what seemed like a million different bags and like previously mentioned, the only complaint I would have is that there is no handle. Other than that its great and I love it. I say go for it!

I emailed Sun Mountain yesterday and asked them whether the Four 5 or the MPB would work on a V1 Speed Cart. Here is the answer I got today:

QUOTE
Neither the Four 5 or the MPB were designed to be used on the Speed
Cart because of the stand mechanisms. The stand doesn't allow the bag
to sit on the bag support properly.

Thank you for choosing Sun Mountain!

Hmmm..........?

I can understand this with the Four 5 as it's basically a walking bag. It doesn't make sense though that they would make a "multi purpose bag" that doesn't work on a push cart. I'm sure someone has to use one of these on a V1 speed cart - please chime-in with your comments.

I use a MPB on a sun mountian cart and it fits fine.

I used an MPB on a V1 speed cart and it was okay at best. The legs do get in the way, and not allow it to sit down properly. If I had to do it over, I would have gotten the SCB.
