have a tournament that combines all 3 tours (PGA, LPGA, Champions)? You take the top 50 from each tour and match them up like this:
PGA #1, Champions #50, LPGA #25
PGA #2, Championship #49, LPGA #24
etc.
Would it be good for golf and a fun event where the public would see all 3 tours interacting?

"good for golf?" I'm not sure how to answer that because for me, golf has nothing to do with the pros and that game they play on TV.
They did have a tournament years ago, I think it was the JC Penney Classic, that had teams (I think) from PGATour, Senior Tour and LPGA.

Good for golf, meant good for drawing more spectators to the game.
I do have a vague recollection of the JC Penney Classic....I thought that was just PGA and LPGA though.

I think you're right. What was I thinking of? Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge?
