I've normally use a power cart....but I'm thinking of getting one of those nice push carts. I can get some exercise & save some $$$.

Which push cart do you guys prefer?

I heard the Clicgear 2.0 are some nice carts.

Anyone have one of those 4 wheel carts like them one?

I walk mostly, but have a V2 cart for the big bag. I will ride sometimes, depending on the company and the purpose of the outing.

I generally have walked when playing 9 and carried, and rode to play 18. However, having some issues with my back, I recently got a Clicgear 2.0 so that I can continue walking, hopefully expanding my walking to 18....of course that depends on the course.

I use a power and push cart.

2000 Yamaha Power Cart

The Ricksha push cart

Use them both allot just depends on the round, if I want to get in a full 18 after work I'll take the Yamaha, tournament rounds I'll usually be pushing The Ricksha.

My son and I both have Clicgear 2.0's that we love. But you'll find others that are also great, like the Sun Mountain.

It should be fairly easy to find these in a store and check them out. The Clicgear folds smaller and has airless tires, big advantages. But the Sun Mountain has its fans also. Totally a matter of personal taste, and there are several threads on here from last season that debate the merits of both.

Depending on how much golf you play and where, one of these carts generally pays for itself in a single season. So if you stick with it for a year, no reason not to have one.

The clickgear and the Sun Mountain carts are both great. the only real plus with the clickgear is how small it folds up. If you need the space, that's the one to go with. If space isn't an issue, the sun mountain is certainly easier to open and close. This years V1 has wheels that are about 1 - 2 inches larger in diameter and are solid rubber (no more flat tires). They do roll easier than the clickgear tires also.

I don't know a lot about clickgear's customer service, but Sun Mountain is great. I have called them in the past for tubes and they just sent me 2 - 3 at no charge. We have had customers come in that had a speedcart break cable or something break after 3 - 4 years and they just sent us a replacement for them at no charge! They stand behind their products very well! I'm looking forward to getting my new speedcart v1 with no tubes! Getting a white one this year...should be pretty cool.

Power carts are great, but REAL expensive compared to a push cart. The new one that just follows you (I think by bagboy) is totally awesome, but it better be for over $1000!!

I push and have clicgear 2.0
I know it isn't the budget minded push cart but I love it the way it folds
and works for me

Powercart is nice but I am too young for that and will not spend the money for it

I carry and at 50y am glad I can.

Only ride when the wife is to tired to have me push her cart for the round.

Hm,m can a clikgear cart fit in the Z4 with a carry bag?

Just planning for the future..

My first impression would be yes to your z4 but I'm not sure. I have seen it go in small roadsters and sports cars with a carry bag, but that would very much depend on the size of your carry bag.

The clicgear folds up to 24x13x15 so you can do the math on that for your car.

MATH??? there is math is Golf? Bah...

Any big difference between the 1.0 and 2. clicgear cart?
mrb
The Duck - I think the only real difference was that the 1.0 had air filled tires, and the 2.0 has solid tires.
Lefty4par2
a little difference in the construction and the durability of the folding mechanisms. but that's about it.

Depends on the course and the time of year. There is no way I am going to walk any course in Phoenix when it is 112* in the shade, especially when there is no shade.

Dude, I don't think that even enters into the discussion. Only things I'm doing at a golf course on a day like that is taking a cold shower and drinking at the air conditioned bar!

Admitedly lots of folks think like you, and there is nothing wrong about it, but not me! As long as the humidity is down, a riding twosome can finish up in 2 1/2 hours. No snowbirds! Obscenely low greens fees! Mid afternoon after the sun has baked the fairways for most of the day, and you can get an extra 15 yards of roll off the tee, and all of a sudden you have to reevaluate your club selection. Bring along a six pack cooler stocked with water and gatorade, and there is nothing like summer golf in the desert.

lol, you're a better man than me!
