I am curious to know if any fellow WRX'rs are wearing House of Fleming golf belts, and if it is worth what you paid....
bogeyjosh
I have 2. a lizard and a python. and yes, it's worth every penny i paid. looking to order 2 more asap. jcigars (a member on the forum) is great to deal with.
oldpalchamp
I have one and really like it! Was it worth what I paid? Absolutely, it was a gift!
joeclothing
I thought they could only be purchased from House of Fleming? I am looking to order a white croc belt but all said and done the price is around $700. Not sure if a belt is worth the price of a new set of sticks.
bogeyjosh
i'd say a white croc belt from h.o.f. is def. worth the $700.00 I'm warning you though, one strap them isn't enough, you'll want another. man_in_love.gif
johndeere10
I have the black Lizard with white edges and stitching. Completely worth it.... so much its hard not to order more colors. Contact Jimmy (jcigars) and he can answer any questions you may have!!
Chilidog
$700 for a belt? Is it gold plated? I don't care how good it looks, not worth $700.
dsipos
I have a few. I have a brown croc and then I have a skin called Predator. It's a croc that is iridescent and changes colors as the light hits it. It goes from green, gold to brown; truly unique. They are expensive but worth it. I'm going to order a black croc soon. The buckles are pricing too. My croc belt with a normal buckle was around $800. Granted those belts are 1.5 inches. They are an investment but they are great.

Jimmy is a friend of mine (and in spite of that) he's great to work with.

woods991
how much are these belts?
Chilidog
$700-$800 a piece it sounds like.

For 700 bucks it better hit the ball 300 yards for me every time. Are you people out of your mind or something? Granted if you are multi millionares (i would say 50mil+) then go ahead and spend 1000 dollars for your belt. I for one can't justify that kind of spending on an article of clothing that really serves no real purpose but to make you not look like a tool if you were to tuck your shirt in without a belt.

I do not see why people have to make comments like this. The thread was about if you have one of these belts. Who cares what the price is? Asking someone if they are out of their mind if they spend $700 on a belt is wrong. If you don't have anything positive to contribute, then don't reply at all.

From roughly 70 dollars for std. leather up to hundreds for exotic materials, with your choice of edge and stitch coloring

Just got a white with black stitch, and black with white stitch in leather with the Betti Honeycomb buckle. Best looking belts I've ever had, and incredibly well made. The buckle is awesome.

Well worth the amount i paid

I have a couple- blue python, black lizard, and would like to get a black ray...

I think his comments are fine...I was also wondering the price and it sounds like it can vary, but $700+ for a belt had better do more then just keep my pants on right.

Most of the belts I sell range from $250 to around $65 and there all custom made to order.

There is a specific buckle I like from house of fleming. It is the one you see Mickelson and a lot of tour guys wearing regularly. It has sort of traditional look to it. Do you know if that has to be fixed to one leather/skin, or can that easily be taken off and switched around?

Hi Joe..to be honest I'm not 100% sure but if I had to guess the buckle will attach on to any of the straps. That particular buckle is hand made from sterling silver smile.gif

One thing a man should never do is tell another man how to spend his own money.

The white with the orange stiching is mine. Haven't worn it yet but I have worn the brown strap with my buckle and I haven't had another belt on since I got it.

They are well worth it. At $65 a piece for a belt you're going to have for a long time is a no brainer.

You could spend $65 on 3 belts that get worn out and nasty in a year. I don't see that happening with these beauties.
bogeyjosh
Hey Joe, did you order your white croc belt?
TM golf guy 182
I have 2 so far, but completely plan on ordering a third one in the not too distant future. You can tell they are high quality, and easily worth the $65 for the plain ones. I plan on getting a different color for the next one. They go great with the Bettinardi buckles. biggrin.gif

Concur. That said, $65 for a plain strap is a good price considering the quality here.
bogeyjosh
i've ordered two more and another bettinardi buckle which i'm waiting to all come in. My next order is going to be a predator gator or a white gator. i was hoping joe ordered one so i can see what the white gator looks like.
dsipos
I have the predator gator belt, here are a couple of photos. It's hard to capture the change in color but it goes from brown, to green, to rust, to orange depending on the how the light hits it. It's pretty sharp.
jcigars
Some more Predator pictures and a very cool glazed stingray cash cover smile.gif

dsipos, do you mind me asking the edge and stitch color on your predator gator? I just think thats the most amazing belt I've seen. And Jimmy, stop making me drool over all your cool stuff! You'll be ordering me a predator soon, I also gotta get with you on a cash cover for my dad for father's day in a few weeks.

The edge and stitching is an orange based tan that matches one of the colors in the belt. I usually wear it matching black pants/shorts with any green or orange color shirt.

what are the width of these things? They all look pretty narrow and I'd like a wider one. Nothing over $65 though, Im not a boss by any means

I'm pretty sure they are an inch an a half. Jcigars would have to confirm that but I'm almost positive.

I wasn't sure (never heard of House of Fleming) so I checked... It's not House of Fleming, it's J.C Penney. $18 as I recall... Oh, and I'm not 100% certain it is a golf belt per se...
TitleistHOG
What does the predator cash cover run?

Added my own buckle...

LOL I think I have about 12 different colored belts and have paid less total for those than for one HOF belt/

Are all of these straps 1.25 wide? That seems narrow. Or at least narrower then they look on tour players.

Black with grey edging with a Bettinardi buckle. Great straps! I hope to pick up a few more very soon.

The straps pictured in this thread are all 1.5".

Some of the Tour players that we fit at House of Fleming actually order the straps even wider. They have their pants custom made and the
loops can accommodate a wider strap.

We made these straps for Darren Clarke. Take a look at the last strap it's like 3" wide cool.gif

Some of you guys have more belts than my wife has shoes.
masegolf1978
I actually found a couple of straps on ebay in my size and I pulled the trigger. Then I saw that they were 1.25 in. and was less excited, but we'll see. Got one black gator and one white gator for $100 each, so I feel like I got a decent deal. (At least given what I've seen people talk about spending on threads like this).

People like what they like and it is their money to spend. Why do you think you have the only valid opinion. Okay you would spend someone else would fine you are both correct for yourselves.
bogeyjosh
i saw those two gator straps on ebay. did you pick up the buckle with it?
