Well first let me say i also think they are the ugliest thing in the world. BUT i want to protect my new 695mbs and am probably going to be gaming a set of scratch irons at some point in the next year. So with that said are there any ironcovers that have a little flair to them?

You are joking, right? Or maybe not.

Why don't you just get one of these?
When your playing partners stop laughing (eventually), you could always use it to rake bunkers.

Short of buying eight Rocket Tour Skinny Sticks, not really. I use the Castle Bay covers when I travel or have the staff bag.

The irons go naked when they're in the carry bag

I like how it's attached to a (now defunct) Spaulding staff bag. I think Greg Norman endorsed the Caddyrack for a while...

I'll throw them on for travel only.

A few times I bough new sticks on a whim and I wanted to play them a bit before deciding to keep them. It'll really help hold there value. I once played a set for a season then sold them for MORE than I paid doing this.

But for me, irons should have bag chatter. I love to hear the sound of them rattling in the carry bag.

'Iron Rattle' should be an option on those Sound Soother machines.

Club Glove neoprene, one of the better looking ones out there.

So what's the verdict on something like this...

It will protect your irons while driving, etc, but you can leave it off during the round.

im not a fan of the iron covers -- but i had some ideas anyway

1. i really like the rocket tour skinny stick idea -- you can get all diff colors -- itd look awesome but pricey
2. putter headcovers -- sounds wierd but if you could get a bunch of cool looking cheap ones it might be kind of funny / interesting
3. if you like callaway these are pretty nice

4. finally the cheapest and kind of nice looking choice -- these run down the shaft like a wood cover and have zippers which will make your life easier when they arn't falling off -- kind of a cool old school look as well

my personal advice: BUY A STAFF BAG .. and a cheap set of iron covers for when you walk

personally i like them right out in my bag -- if im gonna pay lots of money i wanna be looking at those beauties all day long hahaha. but i do have a set of the generic club gloves for travel and they work very nicely.

goodluck!!!!!!

Don't forget the tubes! You want to protect those shafts and grips too.
