Don't know if this is the right section, but I thought it fits better here than other sections.

Just got a new set of callaway irons and am thinking about iron head covers-----> Callaway head covers

I think $40 is crazy for these. Just wanted to get some opinions about the benefits of the iron head covers.

Your paying for the Callaway name
I am sure they are good covers though
I dont think they are necessary unless you are playing forged clubs and worrying about keeping them in good shape
Most cast clubs wear well, especially Pings
I play forged clubs but dont use covers for them and never have with prior sets

Club Glove Neoprene ones, they come in a range of colours and two sizes.
I think they're great, and from what I remember, I paid about $20something for them off eBay.

I got those exact same ones at www.discountgolfworld.com for $10 less. They're made by Ogio and I love them. Very nice headcovers.
