I have the power bands and they are killing my feet. I bought them in wide. They were a little snug but though over time they would loosen up. Not. Why are they so narrow. It looks like the toes are too pointy and squishes my toes. Any suggestions

Actually I find they fit pretty well. Now Nike, that's a different story. You might as well wrap up my feet in plastic wrap!

I had the absolute opposite experience of the OP. I bought the PB's because the toe was more rounded and there was less toe pinching. Best golf shoes I've ever owned. FJ's are too pointy (the ones I've tried) and Nike was way too high volume/boxy.

Yeah, I agree with the OP. I like callaway and fj the best. Adidas was unbearably narrow, esp the Powerbands.

I wear the same size in every kind of shoe, size 14. Every shoe fits the same. I have never understood how people have problems with shoes, or have to wear different sizes when wearing different companies. Maybe I am just lucky
I like Puma the best, but also wear Adidas, Callaway and Footjoy. Nikes are okay but I dont currently own any.

I have to go up a half size when buying Adidas golf shoes because they are narrower than Nike or Footjoy.

I've been an adidas guy for a long long time... Heck I live in Nike country and I can't wear nikes they are made for people with much wider feet than I. Adidas always fit me perfectly. Pumas fit me well too, but I've never had their golf shoes, I hope to add a pair this summer.

i really like the look of the 360 ltd shoes from adidas. unfortunately, they do not fit me and i find them way too narrow as well...even for wide.
i do recommend the mizuno shoes if you find the adidas too narrow. i have a pair of mizuno shoes in "eeee"...that is like super wide and they feel wonderful! finally no more cramped feet.
i also have a pair of footjoy dry-joys which my girlfriend bought for me...felt great when i tried them in the store...they're wide fit as well. haven't tried on the course though cos they're so nice and white!!

Unfortunately Mizuno shoes aren't readily available in the US anymore.

My brother is the same way, he is a size 12 and always buys size 12 regardless of brand. For myself I find there is atleast a half size variance between different brands. With the adidas I have to go half a size bigger because they are narrow. What I have noticed is that the width in bigger sizes is less different from brand to brand so they probably fit similarly.
They adidas are narrow but i still find them very comfortable. I have the 360 tour II they could be half a size smaller if they were a bit wider but my feet don't slide around at all so I don't really consider it too much of a problem.
Something a bit off topic but relevant is that I find adidas soccer cleats and reebok (owned by adidas) ice skates are not very wide either.

Adidas shoes are NOT narrow. I have narrow feet, and these shoes aren't narrow.
It's been my experience that people don't realize just how wide their feet are. When you have narrow feet like me, you realize that there are very few "narrow" shoes out there.
Be glad that you can stretch a snug shoe, 'cause there's no cure for taking up the slack in a shoe that's too wide.

At the risk of being tiresome, may I once again suggest Adidas shoes that are built on the "sport last" rather than the "performance last." I find the Powerbands to be toe pinchers as well. The Sport Last hugs your heel but has a very generous toe box. The University model and the dressier All Tour models use the sport last.

I'd have to disagree! I have the Adidas University, the Powerbands, and the Tour Traxion II's.
I started with the Universities. They were fine at first, then after a few rounds I could barely walk off the 18th green my left toes hurt so bad. I decided to get some new shoes. Did the measurements according to Adidas and it showed standard as what I need. I placed the order and was sent the wrong pair of shoes, thankfully. They sent me standard but wrong color. I tried them on to see about fitment and they were just as bad. I sent them back and asked for wide (these are the powerbands). They are better but still somewhat tight. So are the Tour Traxions. I thought it might be my swing and that I was coming over too hard on my left side. I went to the range and used my regular Asics running shoes that I wear almost 24/7 and did not have the first problem.
All this, and I've never EVER owned a pair of wide-souled shoes in my life. I'm thin and tall so its not like I have fat feet. I think they just make them extremely narrow for some reason. I will not be buying Adidas again, that's for sure.

I can't see why people think Adidas shoes are narrow... I've worked in the shoe/feet industry and have never thought this.
Learn something every day I guess...

I have to agree. They are incredibly narrow. I really wanted to buy a pair (the 360s, I think), and I couldn't even walk around the golf store, much less the course. They pinched me right in the middle of my feet.

I have a pair of the Adidas powerbands and a pair of FJ Contours...the FJs are much narrower than the Adidas.

I agree...the regular Adidas tour 360 LTD is so narrow and half a size small. I just got mine in the mail 30 minutes ago and I ordered the 12.5 wide. Length is fine (I wear a 12 normally) and the width is just perfect....it could even be tighter, especially around the waist of the shoe where the stripes wrap around your feet. Toe box is roomy enough and the heel is big enough also but not too snug. If you don't have a narrower than normal foot, you definitely need to get wide in the ltd shoes at least. Love them though! cant wait to wear them on saturday.

it's all part of the marketing ploy.
they are just trying to convince you to buy the adjustable width shoes that they are coming out with next season. And then, 2 months after that, they are coming out with an adjustable length shoe.
Then, next season?
Adjustable spike placement.
It's truth. I heard it from the rep.

The top-of-the-line Hi-Tech brand golf shoes (Padraig's old sponsor) already offer adjustable width with generous toe box, excellent ankle support, wide base, and also adjustable spike placement.

And the company is probably going to go the way of poo, now that Padraig is no longer wearing their shoes.

Yeah, they need adjustable looks, too.
