I saw one at the store and fell in love. About the same size as the Nike tour sasquatch bag but with the external Putter Well Which I need as I have a massive headcover!

The all black looks great.

Does anyone have one. What do you think. Can you PLEASE post pics with the clubs in the bag????

Finally!

Had one. Real nice bag and certainly cut down on bag chatter with the individual compartments. Only negative---no trunk handle.
kgeorge78
wow that sucks. Did you have the putter in the external putter well? There are 14 holes + the putter well?

So I can "cheat!" and carry 15 clubs!

What colour did you have?
Crayaco
I have a MPB and really like it. I have carried it for nine holes and use it on
a Sun Mountain push cart. I think mine is the 2007 model. It carries a lot
and looks good even after 2 years.

The only con is the cooler pocket is smaller than my C130.

Wow, I thought this was going to be the perfect bag too, but I just looked at the pictures online a little closer and sure enough...no trunk handle. Instead, it looks like the putter well is where the handle usually is. This doesn't seem like a very good design. I use the trunk handle a lot.

I'm willing to try it anyways. Somebody please post pics with the clubs in it.

If you look at the top of the bag just above the putter well, there is a handle which is an integral part of the top. It works, but very difficult to find for the cart guys loading your bag. It does make a nice base for the Video Caddy if you use one with your video camera. The other issue with the drink pocket is legitimate. Very difficult to get any decent sized drink in that pocket. I never use it. Otherwise, nice bag

I finally saw one in person yesterday and I don't think it's the perfect bag for basically 2 reasons. The first reason which isn't a huge one is what was discussed in this thread already, the lack of a trunk handle. However, the second reason could be a big one...it appears to have the same stand mechanism at the bottom as their other bags which would render it difficult to use on a cart. Can anyone confirm this?

Going on 4 yrs for mine. The handle is on the side and easy to just grab both handles and put in trunk or back seat. A feature that they changed is the bottom of the putter tube is now higher which makes it easier to fit in a cart. I complained to them when I got mine about this problem cuz the bottom hit the rear edge of the cart when putting it in.

I do like the 15 compartments though(practice only, lol) and it's made for the SM speed cart if you ever wnat one.

The separation is nice and easy to get the clubs out.

Fitment on the Clickgear 2.0 is great, I've posted pics of the MPB on a push/pull cart (post #12) http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index.php?sh...6527&hl=mpb

Sorry, I meant a riding cart...

I've picked up the new one in a store - it does have the integrated handle on top and the pics indicate a place for a handle towards the bottom.

It does have the same leg mechanism but it should not affect a pull or other cart use as the legs are zippered -- the slight stand will not move up and down with the legs zipped. As to the cooler pocket -- it fits an Ozarka Water Bottle fine -- but it's more of a walking cart pocket. I'd advise them to put an insulated and larger pocket on it. It is a good range/cart bag -- I still think that anything more than 4 lbs is too heavy for 18 holes with all of the options these days.

I use the 3.5 SL for walking and a SuperDeluxe for the cart - solves all problems, except for not having legs on the range with the SuperDeluxe.

Well I decided to stick with the Tour Sasquatch. For me it's the best bag - Light enough to walk, big enough for a cart - stands on its own and tons of pockets.
I wish It had putter well (Headcover issues with the indiv slots) but no big deal, I just bought a smaller slip on Headcover.

Plus it matches my irons!

From my experience it isn't the legs that are the problem, it's the flange at the bottom that triggers the legs that gets in the way when putting it on a cart...

Does anyone know the weight on the MPB?

Thanks.

I agree -- but since the legs are zipped, the flange is at least not moving around -- but it can get in the way.

It's like 6.5lbs

"Does anyone know the weight on the MPB?"

I've seen it listed as 7.1 pounds. The Nike is 5.5 pounds, and the Four 5 is, of course, 4.5 pounds.

I can't decide either...

I have been looking at this bag myself since I ride a cart exclusively, but like the stand bag for range time. My concern is if it is secure on the cart since I usually put the strap through the grab handle on my bag. You cannot do that with this bag give where the molded handle is, and many of the cart bags use this handle or another loop to thread the strap through. Is it a problem keeping the bag on the cart?

I play a few courses with a mandatory cart policy, and this bag has given me no issues at all. No problem with strapping it to the cart....it stays put.
BigTexGolfer
Smitty, do you have to put the bag in a cart at an angle because of the leg mechanism? I looked at one today at PGA Superstore and found where there is a lit in the putter well to put the strap through. But, when I tried to put it in a cart I had to put it in sideways because of the flange on the bottom of the bag that activates the legs. Kind of surprising since that is not a problem with the Nike Sasquatch Tour which is about the same size.
