I just looked at the Puma Scramble golf shoes on
www.Zappos.com but I don't understand the spikes or lack of them. Does anyone have these and if so could you tell me what the bottom spikes are like.
Go to Zappos.com and take a look at these and tell me if you think they would be good, they look super comfotable but I'm not sure about the spikes.

I really dont see anything wrong with them.
I like the look of puma shoes, Ive never worn them, but they look good. I dont think the spikes should cause you any problem.
Just my opinion though

Major Puma Fan!!!
Just purchased two pair of these bad boys in Black and White. Partly because of the lack of dexerity direction smart quills (I'm a lefty). The spikes themselves are molded into the sole, so there is no replacing these bad boys. But, that can also be said of the "real" smart quills. There are individual rubber quills at all points of contact. These are not dexterity specific! Also there are molded cleat like sections at the heel and ball of the foot.
Ill take some pics and upload in few!

Those are slick. My Tour 360 II "Teach" shoes are molded similar to that. Love 'em.

I really like the way they look.
Any pic of someone wearing them on the course?

I have almost nothing but Puma shoes right now, and the SmartQuill are the most stable shoes I have ever worn.

this may be a dumb question, but do Puma's with smart quill technology have a right-handed / left-handed option? i read on their website that the smart quills were designed differently for each foot to react to proper footwork during a swing. so that leads me to believe that left-handed golfers need a lefty specific pair of shoes with smart quill, yes?

Yes, the smart quill system is dexterity specific. However, these shoes (Scrambles) do not utilize the full smart quill system, they only use rubber quills at the points of contact. The "real" quills are a plastic material (featured on the Swing GTX) and their is a lefty pair and a righty pair. Not a dumb question at all...

Tried these on today and was very impressed. Light, low profile and comfortable. They run quite narrow so the wide was perfect for me, but they only had 10 1/2 and I need a 10.
Wondering if those who have them in this thread still like them. What are your thoughts?

Ogs always is kickin the Pumas. As a side note, they are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn - including my new Eccos that I will be dumping in place of the new Puma Tipper

Love these shoes. Thanks for the pictures. Think I'll order a black/white pair and a black pair for the winter.

Anyone know if they only come in "extra wide". The website wasn't clear. I like them alot, but have a narrow foot, so I definately need a normal width.
