This might sound like a stupid question, but do the players have to turn in a scorecard for the Accenture match play format? I would imagine not, but just wanted to make sure.

You know... I think they might. McIlroy was writing something down so I just assumed it was his score.

That's exactly why I was wondering. I also seen McIroy writing something. I wonder if they keep their stroke count or what not.

No card has to be turned in. He probably was keeping score or writing some other info down, but that was just for his use. There is an official scorer that walks with each group and records the scores.

cool, thanks tmiller. I figured that is how it works when the guy yells out the current match details after each hole. Just wasn't sure.
