I am a glasses wearer, and for golf I hate the clip ons that came with my glasses. Another concern I have is that with wearing glasses I know that depth perception can be distorted from one lens to to the next. What I would like to do is get some Transitions type lenses in a fram that is more along the lines of sunglasses, rather than regular glasses with tinting lenses (corny). The reason I want to do it this way is I want to be able to basically wear them for all light conditions on the golf course, so I don't encounter that depth perception shift.

Has anyone else done this? If so what has the experience been.

If you don't mind shelling out the dough, Oakley gives you some options. I went a little cheaper with Maui Jim's, didn't do the Transition lenses, and I'm pretty much satisfied.

MAny companies offer Rx with the transitions, I can get Bolle for around $270. Oakley is good, but run more than $200 more than Bolle... the price difference is the lenses.
