I am looking at getting a new pair of shoes. I am choosing between Footjoy and Adidas but am considering other brands as well. I am going to spend a little more in hopes that I get something that lasts. Can anyone speak on the durability of Adidas, Footjoy, and other brands? I had a pair of Adidas that the sole started seperating from the shoe and that has me a little worried about Adidas. Granted, these were a lower end model.

Are you set on FJ or Adidas? I love Ecco. I've had one pair last me 3 years. So comfy for my wide feet. Just a thought.

Lower end and Ecco don't go hand in hand. Great shoes (i have a pair) but not cheaply priced.

I have had a pair of Dryjoys for 8 years. I don't use them for rounds anymore since they are really beat up from lots of use, but i still use them in soggy conditions and for practice. (highly recommend, especially when you look at the deals on them) --one downside, they take about 2-3 rounds to break in

No experience with anything else....so take my advise with that in mind
