I'm assuming a few of you guys have seen the thread asking about courses that I will be playing when I go down to Alabama next week to play the RTJ Trail. I loaded them all up on my uPro last night just using the "basic mode" I am thinking about adding "Pro mode" for all of them though since I have never seen the courses and the flyovers could be pretty helpful just to see the layout. I got to thinking though that maybe the golf carts have GPS systems that show the hole layout on them already. Do any of you guys know if they do? I don't want just yardages, I want an actual map of each hole... Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick answer! Looks like I'll be coughing up some extra dough now for Pro Mode downloads on the old uPro...

If you're playing at Ross Bridge, they have a great GPS system. It gives you a picture of the hole and everything. That course is the best course on the trail in my opinion. I played there a week and a half ago and it was in great shape. However, all the other golf courses on the trail do not have very good GPS systems. They just give you numbers to certain things on each hole. Not the greatest. Play well and have fun!

I've played the Prattville course many times and can tell you that it seems like every time I go I get a cart the the GPS is "actin up".

I just downloaded the Pro Mode on my uPro for all the courses we are playing. My buddy has a Pinseeker 1500, so I think we're going to have the courses pretty much covered from all angles as far as getting our yardages... Thanks for letting me know what to expect though guys!

I can attest that the GPS at Mobile, Greenville, Prattville and Dothan are very antiquated and pretty much worthless. They are probably the only thing about the RTJ Trail that I have been less than impressed about.
I always load up my Skycaddie. The Intelligreen feature is most helpful on the odd shaped greens.

+1 Grand National. I use my Bushnell.

Agree with everyone... take your own GPS or laser.
But, the statement about Ross Bridge's GPS system being excellent is very true, it will even tell you how far you hit your ball.
