Looks like he is not using his G5 from SD. He is flying out of Palomar and using a smaller plane.

I think it's about 120 miles, which in CA traffic could be 4 hours.

I think you are correct, though for some reason i thought his "spanish-style villa w/ putting green, etc" in AZ was on the market within the past year or so...

He lives on The Bridges in Rancho Santa Fe. Phil moved out of Scottsdale years ago, though he may still own a place there. Yes he did fly back and forth each day from the Northern Trust. His Gulfstream 5 flies out of downtown SD but he used a smaller plane this week out of Palomar Airport.

Looks like he flew into Scottsdale and may be staying there or at least practicing there. The tourney in Tucson which is maybe a couple of hours away. I doubt very much he would try to commute between SD and AZ as if his plane would be grounded from take off for any reason he would never get there in time.

This is correct. He moved out of his place in Scottsdale in like 2001(?) and moved to this home ->
click<- in Rancho Santa Fe(north county San Diego). He put that up for sale this summer and is now living in a larger home in the Rancho Santa Fe area.

Play golf at his County Club a couple times a month. He lives down in Rancho Santa Fe. San Diego County.
Scotty Cameron and a few other guys are members there too.
Driving would take about 5 or so hours....
