Man I was about the ask same question. I need another pair of Khaki pants. I need some that are comfortable and I can wear anywhere. I don't care if they are golf specific. As long as they are flat front, and reasonable price. Anyone got any suggestions.

They don't make them in a 30" waist. At least I have found any yet.
never mind: found them.

I wear 34/34 and I got 90% of my pants at banana republic. I get the relaxed fit...they're soft and not tight in the least bit.

Leadbetter slacks are fantastic IMO. Little "pocket in a pocket" for markers, rubber grips on the waist and they have an adjustable waistband. Very good quality. If you catch them on sale at Joseph A. Banks they're reasonably priced.

Well if you are looking for the best bang for your buck then you can't go wrong with the "Dockers Flat Front Relaxed fit" pants, they are comfy look good, and can be found for a very reasonable price. I don't buy much of anything else when it comes to pants to golf in. Finding a 38" waist with a 34" length is tough to do in some designers like Lindeberg and such, I guess they think people with a 38" waist are short fat guys cause when you go from a 36" to a 38" it's instantly down to a 30" leg or less.

i think kenneth cole and geoffry beene makes some really comfortable thin pants and the majority of them have a pretty decent fit, only thing I would complain about is that the Coles have too high of a rise for my liking

I was about to get some Banana Republic pants last month. It has been the pair I was looking for forever, however, wife said not now and they were on sale at the time for 70. So, personally, I need something of equal look for less money. The addidas tech pants are not made are not offered in a 30x32. I got a gift card for golfsmith, but don't have one locally so I'm looking at spending it on something good.

Hugo Boss for me, the only golf trousers I have found that fit me well. 30" Waste and 31" leg. They are soft and comfortable and even better I got them at half price.

In all honesty the Walter Hagen pants they sell at Dick's are GREAT if you are playing in warm weather, they're very thin and lightweight. I'm not big on many of the "exclusive" brands they sell there, but I'm dead serious when I say the Hagen pants are the real deal. I've probably bought 4-5 pairs of them.

second on the haggars......especially at the price.
i would say in the 25-40 range the haggars and docks are choice.
to be honest i buy summer suit pants from goodwill for like 3 dollars. super lightweight and always look good. Picked up some hickey freemans for 4 bucks the other day

if you're into the more trendy, euro style, look into ordering some Stromberg pants.
If not, I'm also a huge fan of the Adidas Climacool pants.

The problem I seem to run in to is that I don't like the really thin pants that feel like you are wearing nothing. At home maybe, haha. But a lot of the cotton pants don't breathe well and can be hot especially if they are black or navy. Is there anyone that makes good cotton pants that are lightweight and possibly wrinkle-free to an extent. I know that is asking a lot. The other thing about poly or microfiber blends is that no matter what I do with them they are always full of static.

i've got some banana republic and there pretty comfortable, but only as comfortable as my countless polo, izod, vineyard vines khakis. The J.Crew or polo tissue ones are probably the most comfortable but that is if you get the light ones

Suit pants might be a little too dressy to be wearing with a golf shirt in my opinion. But that also depends on what they are made out of. If they are poplin they would be fine.

Another vote for thhe Cool 18s. I just bought a bunch from JCPenney online for $35 per pair. I own some costing 4 times as much but these are the most comfortable and best fitting for golf. Their shorts are great also.

If you are buying the Cool 18 pants, you are helping me!! Just think of it that way. I sell the vendor the yarns that go into those pants that are sold everywhere. So, if you buy those pants, you are buying my yarns!

Ive mentioned this brand before but never gets any traction around these parts : VOLCOM
and I think flat front dress pants are fine to wear with a golf shirt, ive got a few pair of the target ones myself. No need to drop tons of money on a "golf" brand if you find something that you like the look of. DO your own thing, ya know?
PS $4 for a pair of Hickeys is rediculous!

Can you post a pic of these pants? Then it would be easier to say. I would think you would not want suit pants that people would think are suit pants, but if you cannot tell, then what would it matter?
My husband just got 2 pair of Dockers flat front golf pants made of natural bamboo. The tag says they are breathable, natural, cooling fabric. They are usually $70 but he found them on sale for $29 at Macy's.

As much of a Mountaineers fan as I am, you're risking a guy card violation with the reference to "poplin." Are guys really supposed to know fabrics or material? I have enough problems figuring out if it's black or navy blue! If you're talking shaft composition it's understandable...but fabric???
Looking forward to seeing where Pat White gets drafted though and what position he plays...

Haha, yeah that is a good point! I hope this doesn't get back to my buddies, I will surely get roasted. I guess it comes from my mother being a seamstress as her hobby. I have always heard her talking about different fabrics and such. She always kept me well dressed. And no I do not know how to sew, haha! I had to draw the line there.
It sounds like Pat has been very impressive during the Combine. I would love to see him play QB somewhere but he certainly has a huge hill to climb, although he has made it to the top everywhere else he has gone. I guess the Texans will have to become my new favorite team if they draft him.

Good call with bringing Mom into the equation...you could play goalie with that save. I know the difference between oregano and sage but you won't see that coming into any kind of golf discussion.
PW could end up being the Wildcat (QB, WR, RB, etc) leader for whoever drafts him. I've followed him throughout his career...would love to see the Bears draft him...but we're still trying to get an offense based on something other than the fullback dive.

Well maybe because I wear suits to work a lot and have some made of wool and a couple of others that are more casual (made of poplin) will work as a better excuse for ya.
You guys definitely need to adopt something up there. Anything other than what is going on that's for sure.
