We just got Fios is my town a few months back. My brother and my parents switched right away from Charter Cable (which overall is pretty lousy) but Fios isn't available yet on my street. I was pretty impressed with the Fios HD channel lineup (roughly 55 HD channels) until I saw that TGC HD wasn't there. All of the sudden Charter added a bunch of HD channels to our lineup (going from 17 to 35) including TGC HD - it's amazing what competition does to spur innovation. These cableco monopolies by town in MA have been ridiculous - for the longest time we only had a handful of HD channels and Charter was in no hurry to even the add the HD local stations. I'll switch to Fios eventually as the HD picture quality is noticeably better, but not until they add TGC HD.
