My friend is looking at a footjoy jacket on ebay and I he was wanting to know if footjoy jackets run big. The jacket on ebay is a medium and he usually wears large. I was wanting to know if they run big.

look on the website, i think 38-40 is the medium size range. I wear a size 42 suit, and the larges are 42-44. The large is a bit big for me, but still fits decently.

If it's the Footjoy jackets that are NOT red label (line that is in the U.K.) then it is American sizing. Meaning that they are more loose fit. I bought a Footjoy jacket that is a red label and they are more fitted. The red label has a more european cut to them.

I'm wearing an XXL instead of my normal XL.

Its a good idea to try one on if possible. I bought one on-line, and, it fits, but, I hate the elastic on the bottom. It tends to ride up on me, and, I always need to pull it down. Just something to consider.
