Do you like the words “funky and trendy” to describe your golf attire?  Are you an action sports fan that doesn’t want to look like a "stuffed shirt" on the course?  If you answered yes to either question then Quagmire Golf is the clothing line for you.  Based in Canada, this hip golf clothier sponsors the likes of Chez Reavie, Jimmy Walker, and Kelli Keuhne to name a few.  In addition, their accolades include being named ScoreGolf’s 2008 Canadian Golf Company of the Year.  Coming into their third year of existence, Quagmire Golf is poised to help make non-traditional golf clothing more of a norm.

As an action sports type myself,  I completely related to founders Geoff Tait and Bobby Pasternak’s vision of wearing comfortable and stylish fashions on the course that are a bit more relaxed.  The pair conceived the idea for their line while working as tour guides taking teens to the major PGA courses throughout the US.  Showing up in their favorite action sports attire, they noticed that the younger set also followed the same independent style.  Along the way they came up with their mantra – “Not Fit for the Fairway” and a new company was born.  In spite of this heritage, even the most conservative traditionalist can find something to appreciate in the collection.  I picked up a pair of shorts and a zip sweatshirt from the line and was quite pleased.  Both pieces were extremely comfortable and felt well made.
