Hey guys I walk every time I play, and I am looking for a comfortable shoe. Is the adidas powerband a good shoe for me?

i have the powerband sports and the camo powerbands. i love them. i wear the sports when its warm enough to wear shorts, and the camo with pants. they are excellent shoes.

OK for dry weather but Adidas have had a lot of returns due to leaking, worryingly more on their most expensive shoes. The 360 mark ones were great looking shoe but leaked like sieves and some Pwerbands have been eqaully bad. However if you play in dry conditions they are a seriously comforable shoe.

Recently got a pair of powerbands, they are nice and light and comfortable. These will be my summer shoes, worn them a few times so far at the range and I have no complaints but yet to walk any decent amount of distance in them yet

Some of the most comfortable golf shoes you will wear. If you walk alot like me you will absolutely love them.

they are really comfortable and light. i never had a problem with leaks but i once had a heck of a time getting sand out of the tongue and off the fairly tacky/rubberized insole. just avoid severely sloped bunker lies in powdery sand. it's almost impossible to slip when the soles are clean.

I saw they are on sale at Golf Galaxy and was thinking about picking up some this weekend.

I've owned a host of golf shoes over the years, only one brand has leaked...Adidas. Never again. If you play where it is wet, or early in the morning I'd skip Adidas shoes.

I've never had a problem with the waterproofing with Adidas shoes. Every OEM makes a lemon every now again. That was one of the reasons I dropped FJ. 2 more hours with wet feet can spoil your opinion, but I know FJ makes good shoes. I just found something that I liked better.

Very nice shoes. Haven't had problems with them since i got them in april 2008.

I find them quite comfortable. I got a pair from Adidas as a replacement but already bought a pair before they got here so I am selling them on BST. If your a size 11.5 take a look.

Very comfortable dry season shoes.

Have two pairs of Powerbands but when it's wet I reach for my FJ DryJoys.

What about the new Powerband 2.0's. Its still to cold here in Ohio to test any new shoes, but has anyone dwn South tried these out yet. I think they just came out.

Very comfortable for walking. I haven't noticed any water problems yet.

I have 2 pairs of the original powerbands (not 2.0) and haven't had any issues with leakage yet, though I've played in the rain only once so far. I have played several rounds in the early mornings when the grass is very wet and my feet stayed dry as can be.

They are very comfortable shoes and are also very stable throughout the swing. I've always liked Adidas shoes for their comfort and light weight. I've not had as much luck with Nike golf shoes though.

I don't understand why nike is SO GOOD at sneaker and clothing production (now, arguably golf clubs too), yet can't get make a comfortable pair of golf shoes?!?! Adidas used to be fairly bad until several years ago as well. I was a loyal FJ guy for close to 20 years, but their higher-end shoes are relatively just a bit too heavy. Now am all Adidas and Ecco, and the FJ's are left in the locker or the trunk for range practice.

The Tour 360 LTD may be the best shoe out there right now. Hate the heel on the 360 3.0 as it really serves no additional purpose. Still love the Powerbands.

Sorry for the keyboard diarrhea. Just watching Uneven Fairways...
