Hey people, not sure if this is the right topic, but instead of buying a brand new bag, is it possible to purchase just the legs for my Clevland QL4 standbag and fix myself. Does anyone know if this is possible? any help would be great!

thanks
Sakman
How old is the bag? May want to call Cleveland Customer Service...

hmm, ya i'll have to give them a call, i think the bag is a few years old now, it isn't even on the clevland webside anymore

Thanks!

With so many inexpensive bags on eBay or other internet golf retailers I'd just get a new bag.

+1 - I thought you broke YOUR Leg not the legs to the bag!

Any photos? Where's the break? depending on the break and your skills, you may be able to do a repair. Otherwise get a new bag for the season!

hey, sorry, I should have been more clear. My legs are fine! lol. The break is at the top of the leg (still on the plastic, and not the metal connection...obviously the weakest part of the leg). I suppose I could try to super glue it. Although I'm kind of enjoying browsing for a new bag! laugh.gif

In the meantime, run down to the auto parts store and get some 2 part epoxy. That will hold it for a bit while you search for your next bag-

Its happened to me before, so I got 2 old graphite shafts and stuck them in worked like a dream.

Well, get some epoxy like said above, tape them together, and your bag will be good as new in about six to 7 weeks. hahaha. Im sure Cleveland will get it "Straightened" out. hahahahaha.

All kidding aside, i hope you have a spare!

several years back I got titleist to send me a new set of legs for my bag becuase the originals kept over extending.

Haha how did this happen? Was it anger induced or a genuine accident? My little brother is an explosion waiting to happen on on the golf course and routinely throws/hacks clubs on the legs of his stand bag, which we now call "Barbaro" due to their crooked condition.

Shoot it!

carbon fiber wrap and epoxy the legs

I also fixed one with some old graphite shaft pieces. Insert and epoxy the shaft pieces inside the broken legs, wrap some black electrical tape around the break on the outside and it's no longer even noticable.

It's actually an easy fix and they end up being stronger than before.

Construct a Viking longboat.

Pour petrol on it.

Find a lake.

Set the old knackered bag on it.

Send it off.

Fire arrows with flaming tips at it.

Watch it burn as it enters golfing Valhalla.

Go on Ebay and buy new bag.

Now it is a Sunday bag.

Duck tape can fix anything. Fashionable, too.

Quaaaack. Quaaaack.
