So I spent pretty much all day today in my room. Had to bang out a couple hours worth of accounting homework and projects. Snow was outside, and my mind was on some golf course somewhere, so I decided to draw where I wanted to be.

Its a little rough, never got taught how to draw. I just feel inspired sometimes and just set my mind to doing something. Nobody has seen either of these, so don't beat me up too bad

So I did this one today

And this one a while ago

nice sketches, you should be proud

I know someone's mom is going to put those on the fridge. The last thing I did that was artistic was on photoshop and it was this Robocop on a Pegasus.

hahahaha that robocop thing is hilarious.

The drawings of bethpage and pebble are awesome also.

you certainly captured the essence of that bethpage par 5. great hole and par 4 after it is a beast. too bad a local company and not tillinghast finished the greens. would have easily been tillie's best course otherwise. have no idea why RTJ jr never added some character to those pancake flat greens since he got the gig to modify the course for the Open.

Rees Jones did the work not RTJ, Jr . It was cheaper to bring the bunkers closer to the greens than to expand them towards the greens. See John Feinstein's "Open" for some good insight.

On a more important note, nice job with the sketches Vince. ok.gif

right RTJ Jr's kid. the greens are so dull there you'd think rtj jr did them. bunkers are fine it's those very large pool table flat greens that are the problem. typical jones family thinking to mess around w/ tillie's bunker masterpieces and totally miss the characterless greens
