What kind of shorts would you suggest wearing for a casual round, where I could wear a untucked polo and shorts, and then keep it on off the course? I'm not just talking about the brand, but the type of short. (Cargo, Khaki, etc.)
Thanks

i like to wear either plaid or seeksucker shorts whenever i play, mostly from american eagle. if i need to do anything after my round, or even before hand i can just put on a t-shirt and some flip-flops and i'm good to go.

i also own a few pairs of the adidas climacool shorts but i only wear those golfing and not off the course that much. whereas the plaid and seersuckers i wear almost all the time even on days when im not playing.

Any non-cargo shorts. Many courses will not permit cargo shorts.

I like Adidas ClimaCool but they don't look so good off the course. I also like Polo chinos and Vineyard Vines.

Hit up J Crew or Old Navy and find a pair of khaki shorts with no cargo pockets. These can be worn with tees, polos (tucked or not), flip flops, etc. Very versatile.

At first I thought cargos looked a little out of place on the course while finding them quite practical with their outside pockets to carry tees and divot tools, not to mention how comfy they are. So, I put a crease in them and now I find them nice and neat. I also have a bunch of coolmax cargo shorts that are even better in hot humid days (yes I put a crease on them too).

I find myself addicted to Greg Normand polo shirts, I get them at Costo at $30 instead of $85+ at the golf store/shop and I am convinced that I am getting a great deal. I buy 3 or 4 a year because of the different colors/patterns just to keep up with the Jones. Problem is I have over three dozens in the closet and a dozen of those are more than two years old with the stickers still attached. GREAT DEAL cheesy.gif
