Golf is about being a individual. If a guy wants to wear a hot pink shirt he should be able too. If you want to wear a white belt wear the f****** thing, who is the fashion police on the course. You don't have to be a plus 3 handicap to wear nice clothes on the course. To all the fat, old, angery men out there, Kiss my skinny, tan, fashionable a**. golf is more than navy blue shirts and docker shorts.

I'm probably the guy in traditional gear that you hate as the "old guard" but I will agree, wear what you want so long as it is appropriate. I wear what I am comfortable in. This usually means a nice pair of slacks and a polo shirt. Never really got into the gaudy belt buckle thing, but to each his own. However, those of us "pale asses" don't want it to be a requirement that one has to be tan to be fashionable on the golf course... we just lack the pigmentation to do so (except in teh sense of a "golf tan" which is a farmers tan plus a little "v" of tanness where your buttons were open).

I am just tired of hearing all of the crap about how to dress, and what you should be wearing out there. it's golf people, 89.9% of us are not getting paid to play this great game.

I'm a golf professional, so looking professional (nice looking pressed garments) is part of my job...But if you want to be that guy that dresses like Camilo, go ahead, golf's all about personalization from the headcovers to stamped putters to the bag to the clothes and shoes...

If you want to make astatement with your clothes, go ahead.

Same as if you want to make a statement with your grammar.

It won't make me angery.

I think it is nice for everyone (old, fat, high handicapper, low handicapper, man or woman) to keep "up to date" with their golf clothes. I would think the guys who are stuck in the past with their golf attire are also stuck in the past with their "regular" clothes.

I like to dress fashionably on the course, but being comfortable is more important, I think. I prefer the more sporty golf styles like Nike and Adidias, since I can move in those clothes. In the summer in Florida, you just try to pick whatever is the lightest material possible.

Now I am a girl, so I won't get razzed for the pink, which seems to be a pressure point here. I actually have more pink golf clothes than regular clothes, thanks to Paula.

ok girls better question what do you think guys should be wearing? or think they look good in on the golf course

LOL

Funny post, I would say I get some of the strangest looks on the course. I have been wearing JL and others for about 2-3 years and the looks I got then were the best. Now days you see more and more poeple wearing euro style clothes so it's more common. I say sport it bro, do not worry about anyone else. I enjoy asking the people who stare at me on the course if they would like to play for 5$ a hole... then they ask what do you play too, and I answer a +1 then the tone changes...

Rock it out bro!
