I apologize for beating this horse again but the Keith Jackson imitations......the stupid questions to Mr. Palmer........the "I have to say something that will be repeated for all of time" comments....... He doesn't even know golf very well. I know he is somebody's son, or husband, or brother but he is really beginning to turn me off to the golf channel. Got me not wanting to watch the telecast any more.
I defended TGC when they have Tiger week each year......I defend the Big Break.......even went with the reality Myrtle Beach/highway race show......I even supported Kelly Tilghman during the "lynching" debacle but Rich Lerner has GOT to GO. I hear the tennis channel is looking for somebody.
I hate dissing on somebody like this but I gotta do it.

You know I to have been holding off saying something because I mean I am not on TV so who knows what I would look like, but today was the last straw, he reminds me of the guy who lurks in the shadows hears people tell great stories then tries to tell them later to pass them off as his story, I loved it today and you could tell Palmer was visably annoyed when he pretty much yelled at Lerner "Excuse me, can I tell the story" I think the golf channel would be best served to put him out on the course and go to him every 5-10 min on a shot or two, but to have him behind the desk is a bad idea he obvioussly turns allot of people off.

I second all of that. It just makes you sick listening to him. I was really turned of when he asked Tadd in Hawaii about his dad's drug problems and asking how he deals with it on the course. Well I try to forget it until you bring it up, Lerner. His dad's drug problems really didn't need to be stated. He has some other stupid questions but that one just takes the cake.

If this is a petition, I'll sign it, and if you send one to NBC on Jimmy Roberts,
I'll sigh it twice.

+1 I seem to be able to ignore Lerner, but I cant ignore Jimmy Roberts.
