I was walking through a local shop the other day and noticed that all the taylor made staff bags were on sale for 80 bucks which really made me wonder if taylor made had a new bag coming out for this season. does anyone know or have pictures of what this staff bag might look like?

Those were demo bags. I assume you are talking about targetlines. Also heard they are liquidating stuff as the new GT will be opening soon in Aurora.

no new bag coming out this year. they go in 2 year cycles. expect a new one in 2010.

Taylor Made does NOTHING in 2 year cycles.........
agreed with 2 year cycle but local Golfsmith received new models for stand bags. Wouldn't surprise me if they add a different staff bag to go along with R9 like the R7 staff bag. But they shouldn't be getting rid of the TMX Staff bags, if you find them on sale, buy them.
Just remember that bags are not done by TM but TMAX Gear. There is a difference in the way they do business in softgoods. Not too much new technology to roll out there.
I will promise you that there will be a new "R9" Staff Bag released in early spring 100%
