Hey,
I have a voyage and noticed the the insulated pocket has little drains underneath it. Is this pocket able to hold ice to cool a bottled beverage, then drain from the respective holes in the bottom? Anybody have experience with putting ice in this pocket?
Thanks in advance

instead of loose ice i have used those ice packs a bunch of times and it works great in the insulated pocket ... imho i wouldn't a) trust the pocket to be fully water proof, and b) trust the drainage out'a the bottom no to go everywhere

My buddy has the SunMountain SCB bag that has drains in the cooler pocket. He fills it up with ice & beer all the time with no issues.

Ditto. I don't have that particular bag, but my last bag had a cooler with two brass drain holes. Worked like charm, and I miss having a built-in cooler on my new bag.
Really, think about it for a moment...what's the difference between two handfuls of ice melting in a lined pocket on the side of a golf bag, and getting caught suddenly in a drenching rain storm???
Its just water, and water evaporates.

Another thing that I've used before (I have a Titleist bag, but it has the same thing) are the freezable ice packs for first aid. They are flexible and are re-freezable and fit almost any shape. I've found that they work well, are small and don't leak!
