I recently was stripping a grip off an old club and managed to slip with a stanley knife and cut through the bone on my thigh and see the muscle, needless to say the ambulance was called and i needed 12 stitches. Then just last week i slipped with a pair of scissors while taking another grip off and cut my little finger on my left hand off nearly and have 6 stitches in it as i type this post! the doctors say i may never get the feeling back in it as well. Anyone else have any tales of injuries on the links or golf related?

twisted an ankle walking to a green. ended up three putting the whole, but then hit a 260 yard tee shot with my 19* rescue dual on the proceeding tee box.

played with a guy who after a three putt tried to drop kick his putter. took it off his shin and had a huge cut from it. he played the next hole, but quite after that.

I have had three neck spasms as a result of not stretching before morning tee offs. Each one took about a week and a half to heal. Lesson learned. fool.gif

Steve, you may want to invest in one of those safety grip cutters, it could save you thousands in hospital bills. russian_roulette.gif
