When i was at latst years us open, I saw a few players wearing golf pants with small slits at the bottom of their pant leg on both sides. Any idea who makes these kinds of pants and where i can get some?

Stun Golf also has some pants the way you are looking for, very nice fit imo a little pricy tough, but cheaper than lindeberg.

Edit: Just checked their website, some pants are on sale for $79 with slits at the bottom, the custom pants are still way out of my budget tough.

I had my tailor add the slit (a v hem) to my Nike Dri-Fit pants and they look great.
psygolf
Perusing thru the Spring '09 catalog -looks like Nike will add the slit to a few of their styles.

Im by no means a fasion king but I have been doing that for a longtime. The reason was so that they would fit over my shoes better. I would just cut my jeans my self but would have my wife do my other pants. Just my 2 cents...

I read somewhere once that about 150 pro's use this one tailor maybe in or around New York, I seen his website before and cannot find it again. All of his trousers had this V-hem. They looked great. Does anyone have any info on this ?

the V hem looks sharp; it has been around for a while: the golf pro I worked for back in 1980 had his tailor hem his trousers with the V hem. I'm guessing it had already been around for decades by then.

you can also wide leg pants, which would accomplish the same look. similar to what Tiger wears.

I was MOSTLY kidding.....but maybe not ! HAHAHA

My point is, leave the V cuffs to the pros. IMO, any amateur that goes through the trouble of having his tailor V cuff his pants is a poser and likely much more worried about what he looks like on a golf course that how he plays on a golf course.

^ This coming from the guy who thinks its funny to add 2nd grade level jokes about his golf grips to his signature....Dude who cares if someone wants to put v-hems in their pants? Some ones pant style has ZERO indication on how focused or dedicated they are toward their golf game. To some, slick duds breed confidence which is arguably a very, very large part of this great game. Kekoa is just trying to seek a little advice, but there always got to be someone to add a completely useless, tasteless post, its too bad.

Anyway, to answer the OP question. I would agree with checking into Stromberg, or some of the brands at www.funkygolfgear.com. J. Lindeberg has the Troyan pants with the zips that can offer a similar effect. Altough I would say your least costly option would be to take the pants you have now to the tailor and get them altered.

I remember doing this back when I was in high school back in the day.

Don't worry what some may say about your golf style. I always like to dress nice and honor the game.

Bingo..scissors and some tailoring.

People have been doing this around here forever with their blue jeans. Usually without the tailoring and going with the frayed look. But really, any seamstress worth 2 cents could cut a slit and sew in a hem line(?) to get the look you want in no time.

I love the pimped out, brand new titleist bag, and then stating you will play any ball that you can find lol

Qaja were probably the pants that you seen on tour.
Justin rose mainly wears them and sam torrance.

just got a pair of slazenger pants with the v-hem on one side at Dick's for $35 on sale. Really helps with the "bunching" around the ankles.

And this coming from a guy with a picture of Camillo's crank as his avitar.

DUDE (and I use "dude" so you will....um, ........like....totally....like know where I am coming from), my whole signature is OVER THE TOP on purpose......from the different colored frames on my sunglasses, all the way to my zodiac sign..... because I think it's hilarious the amount of information some people on this site put in their sigtags. It's suppose to be a 2nd grade joke!!

At no point was my post pointless, and it was never tasteless. Useless? Maybe. smile.gif

I just said what A LOT of people were thinking.......
Golfer1016
Congrats on another "useless" and tasteless post champ! That picture isnt even of Camilo but thats neither here or there. As for your post being tasteless, there is no question. Who cares if someone has a different style of pants or even clothes for that matter, and cant break 85, who cares if they cant even break 120!? Im sure there were other people besides yourself that thought this topic was ridiculous, but those mature people, unlike yourself, kept there opinions to themselves and moved on. But there is always a member like you, that has to leave a completely unconstructive post, ruining the topic for the rest of us. I just dont see where any of your post help the OP with what he is looking for...at all. By the looks of it, I have a few people that agree with me. Your fighting a loosing battle bro. Anyway this stupid, back to the OP question with some constructive posts, ya?

He has been making trousers for a long time and has been involved in the Ryder Cup and is the official licensee for the Ryder Cup throughout the next few years. I have a few pairs of his pants with the V-Slit and love them. I play to an 8.5 handicap over here in the UAE and dont care what handicap you are they look good on or off the course. Not sure if they are available in the US. rolleyes.gif

I am a HUGE fan of the V hem. My tailor charges $7 a pair. The majority of my pants are V hemmed. They are tough to find in the States, so I just have my tailor do it.
