Here is what I wrote to win a pair of these:

I should be one of the people to test them because I have an incredibly wide variety of shoes to compare them against, and because I offer a different dimension for shoe fitting. I have the flatest feet that you have ever seen. I could provide input for my fellow flat footed brethren, and compare them to my Adidas Tour 360's, Adidas Tour 360 2's, Footjoy DryJoys, Footjoy DryJoys Pro, Footjoy E-Comforts, and Footjoy Classics. Plus, I am a shoe HO.
I won't show pictures of my feet for your sake LOL, but they are literally flat as a board. I often walk when I play, so a shoe that provides a lot of support is important. So on to the review.
LOOKS: These shoes are sharp. I got the white/white, and when I first pulled them out of the box I was impressed. They have a nice athletic look to them, but they still maintain some of the FootJoy classy look. I would guess these are designed to appeal to the golfers that like the more athletic look of the Adidas shoes. In this department I say FootJoy did a great job.
COMFORT: Out of the box, these shoes feel very nice. They arrived on a day where I had been on my feet for about 10 hours non stop, so I put them on for about 5 minutes in the house to see how they were. I was pretty impressed. The memory foam feels pretty good. You can tell almost right away that they will be pretty comfortable.
I played on Monday of this week with them, and I walked. It was a tad soggy, but not too bad. The course was right around 7,000 yards, and it is set up where the longest walk between any hole is no more than 100 yards. You only have to walk that distance twice, so you pretty much just walk the length of the course. After paying and putting for 10 minutes, I went and teed off. After 9 holes I felt no discomfort in my feet. When I finished with 18, my feet felt pretty much exactly like they did when I wear my Tour 360's, which is just fine. I could walk 36 in them (I think) and my feet would still be in pretty good shape. I would say that these are just as comfortable as my Tour 360's (which IMO are the most comfortable shoes out there), and may even be more comfortable. I don't know for sure yet if they are, I will find out once they get some more use. Definitely the most comfortable FootJoy shoe I own, including my Classic Tours.
STABILITY and TRACTION: These shoes really shine here too. I may have been in one or two awkward places on the golf course through out my round
FIT: I can see why FootJoy emphasized fit when they emailed me. I have 4 pair of FootJoys besides the SYNR-G, and these fit a little different. The shoe is a little snugger on top and on the sides. I think that this is because of the memory foam. They ARE NOT tight, just nice and snug. I think this extra snugness helps out with the stability too. These shoes fit my feet better than any of my other shoes. I really like the fit all the way around my foot. I did get the same size shoe in these as my other FJ shoes as well.
Overall, I am very pleased with the shoe. I hope that FootJoy will continue to push these, because I think they will be a big hit. I will certainly buy another pair when one of my other shoes goes out. These could very well be my new favorite shoe, but only time will tell.
Thanks again to FootJoy and GolfWRX for the opportunity to try these out.
