I have seen the shoe on their website and am very anxious to try it. As a person who has owned many pairs of footjoys, mostly classics and some DryJoys, I have faith that Footjoy will keep themselves on the cutting edge of technological development and continue to be the number one shoe in golf. And I would love to help them do so!
coco
I wore foot-joys for many years, until Adidas shoes won me over.....I would deffinitely like to find something from Foot-Joy that will bring me back. I tend to be brand loyal and all of my shwag is Acushnet, except the shoes...Let's see if they can win me back.

I am a college golfer who has to deal with the rigors of long rounds and lot's of time playing in a pair of shoes. I have tried many different types of shoes and can compare these shoes with classics, dryjoys, nike's, tour 360's and all the rest to leave a great review. I would love to try out a pair of shoes that are so highly regarded on the PGA tour. Spending so much time on the course will allow me to fully test these golf shoes in all areas of performance. Thanks

i have been playing golf for countless years and the only shoe i have worn is FJ

I haven't worn a pair of Foot-Joys in 10 years because the last pair killed my feet. So I shopped for other brands and I found that Adidas and Nike shoes were a better product. If you want to prove me wrong, and put some Foot Joys on my feet, now's your chance.
jas904
I'd like to give the a test and I think I would be a good candidate because I am a walker. If it were up to me the golf carts at my club would be banned.

Havent owned a pair of FJ's.....using mostly Adidas Tour model. Always willing and interested to try something new. Send me a pair and I will give them a try with an honest review!

I play weekly rain or shine, hot or cold and I am tough on my shoes. Rarely does a shoe last a whole year, they will see 100 degree heat,40 degree cold, mud, rain, sand, weeds and the trunk of my car. I've had some bad luck with footjoy shoes over the past years mostly losing their waterproof qualities and thus have switched to adidas with acceptable results. My last 4 pairs of shoes have all been adidas and I have not even looked at another brand, this is Footjoys chance to regain my patronage.

I've never so much as won a scratch off lottery ticket, to win a pair of FJ would be the cat's pajama's!!!!!

pick me, I'm the baddest Heb this side of Tel-aviv!!!!!

I think I'd be a good candidate. Golf season is still in full swing over here, and I play multiple times a week. I used to wear FJ's, but I've been converted to Adidas. Maybe these will win me back!

After enduring six knee surgeries I have found the construction of my golf shoes is extremely important in providing proper stability for my legs. I have been a long time Footjoy wearer, but recently changed to another brand trying to find a stronger platform of support, however, the feel and comfort isn't the same.

I am very eager to try these new FJ's as they may provide the stability I'm looking for along with the high performance that the Synr-g configuration offers. Strength of the shoe construction along with flexibility in movement is essential.

Thanks to FootJoy (Acushnet) and GolfWRX for making an offer like this possible.

About 7 years ago I purchased a pair of footjoy dryjoy GX shoes. To date, these are by far the best shoes I've owened. I wear golf shoes an average of 4 days per week during the season, needless to say the dryjoys are getting pretty worn! I get a lot of comments regarding them, such as "you know that golf stores sell shoes to not just clubs". Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to try to replace them. I've tried many different styles and brands of golf shoe. I am always searching for a shoe that is waterproof, (and I've purchased many that claim to be and were not) a shoe that will fit a slightly wide foot, and a shoe that is comfortable, stylish, and supportive. Basically something that will compare to my old "slippers". Nothing has. So I have a trunk and closet full of shoes that I don't wear because of my Dryjoys. I would love to have the opportunity to try a new pair of dryjoys, hopefully they would last me another 7 years!

Smokey916
Ive only worn nike golf shoes since I started maybe you can convince me to switch to your company s shoes.

It would be nice to try out a pair of FJ for free to replace my 4-yr old pair of adidas. I've always thought FJ shoes are too nerdy looking, but these SYNR-G ones look kind of sporty.

I should be one of the people to test them because I have an incredibly wide variety of shoes to compare them against, and because I offer a different dimension for shoe fitting. I have the flatest feet that you have ever seen. I could provide input for my fellow flat footed brethren, and compare them to my Adidas Tour 360's, Adidas Tour 360 2's, Footjoy DryJoys, Footjoy DryJoys Pro, Footjoy E-Comforts, and Footjoy Classics. Plus, I am a shoe HO.

I am currently a Professional Golf Managment student at Campbell University where we play golf everyday after class. We also have a Tournament Series in which we have a different event every weekend. We play through all differnt types of weather and temperatures so I need a pair of shoes that can handle that. With the amount that I play I dont have enough money to pay for a cart each time I play, so I walk each round. Spending all that time walking the golf course causes my shoes wear easily. I have found that Footjoy shoes last the longest and are the most comfortable. I have read about these new SYNR-G and they sound great to walk in. With the incorporation of memory foam and a heal lock, I am sure they would be a pleasure to wear as I play. I hope I am lucky enough to have the chance to try these new shoes out and let everyone know how they are. Thank you to Golfwrx and Footjoy for the oppertunity to possibly win a pair of these.
jeff0907
ever since i have picked up the game of golf i have been going through problems with my golf shoes. them being too heavy, tight, or causing blisters on my feet. so throughout my career i have been suffering from recurring problems with my shoes. the fact that footjoy is offering a shoe with a revolutionary design. so i have been searching for years to find the perfect shoe for me to have on my feet that will keep my game at its highest level. too who ever the ten are that do get the chance they will have a great opportunity to do something very few are able to do and hope they take this chance for all it worth and not just for the pair of shoes that they would be receiving. so i hope that i can be one of the lucky few who can experience this footwear first hand.

I have a great love for the game of golf and try to play every day. I enjoy walking the course, and am constantly looking for comfortable, and durable golf shoes. As a full time student I dont have very much money to buy expensive, and nice shoes. I have a part time job at a golf course and now that it is winter I am running out of money and am not getting very many hours there. I just finished buying my golf equipment for the upcomming season, and dont have much money left. I would really love the oppertunity to try these new shoes, because I usually buy shoes that are on clearence. I enjoy FJ products and only use FJ gloves and shoes. I would greatly appreciate the oppertunity to test these shoes and review them.

sincerely, Jim

First off I'd like to thank Footjoy for giving the members at golfwrx this opportunity.

I have been intrigued by the Footjoy SYNR-G's since I first saw them in the 2008-2009 FJ product book. This year I used Footjoy Dryjoys Tech religiously, wearing them every time I step onto a course or practice facility (I play/practice 6 days a week). They have been very comfortable but have grown to be quite dirty and scuffed throughout the season as is common with all white shoes. One of my favorite touring professionals is Davis Love III and when I saw him wearing SYNR-G's in his win at Disney I knew they must be good. I feel that SYNR-G's would be a good transition for me coming off of Dryjoys. Ever since I started taking golf seriously about 5 years ago I have worn nothing but Footjoy's. Adding some SYNR-G's to my closet would be great way to start my 2009 season. Thanks.

As most know on this site I am one of the true shoe ho's and have many many pair. Over 40 pair easy. I would love to try these out and with my knowledge of shoes can give a good write up on the shoes. Also because of the great gesture by Footjoy I will offer a pair of brand new Nike air zoom shoes in 9.5 to Golfwrx. They can give them away in another contest or sell and use the procedes to put back into the site.

Happy Holidays!!

I am a college player in central ohio and would like to try these out. They look amazing and seem to be legit. I play in alot of bad ohio weather so I need a shoe that can handle this. I have never had a pair of Footjoy's and would love these to be my first! thanks for the opportunity!!
alucard655
It is still golf season here and I walk every weekend with my foursome. I have been wearing dryjoys and alternate two pairs of them along with my classics. I am always anxious to try something new and I love new golf shoes. If they are looking for reviews prior to release then I will be able to get atleast 3 rounds of walking in them under my belt for a review. Thanks for the opportunity.
DRGJR72
Well first off I am preparing myself to launch!!!!!

Secondly I am anxious to see if the new technology claims (i.e.: “the memory foam and HeelLoc zone work in harmony to secure the foot inside the shoe, while the innovative Tri-Lateral Stability Frame and G-Force outsole deliver the most stable hitting platform of any shoe we’ve ever developed) live up to their billing.

I also feel that my review will be unbiased, accurate, and well written all which will be a benefit to anyone who might have questions before purchasing these shoes in the future.

I have been a loyal footjoy user my entire golfing life, and won't use anything else!! smile.gif I would love to give these puppies a try !!

These shoes look awesome and I expect them to be just that, but reason I need these shoes is because I am an admitted club ho. busted2.gif You ask, "why would being a club ho entitle you to these shoes?" Well being the club ho that I am means that I have to try out most everything that everyone raves about on this site. clapping.gif Especially if it's next great club that is guarranteed to hit it straight and long. bb.gif This zaps all the money out of my golf fund faster than going to the strip club on one of our many out of town "golf trips". drinks.gif I've worn the same pair of shoes I found on the clearance rack for 2 years now and my feet beg you!!! shout.gif Get me out of these older than grandpa nikes and into the best FJs yet! man_in_love.gif Papa needs a new pair of shoes!!! yahoo.gif

Well, I have been a longtime foot joy user for many years. I have the opportunity to test these shoes in the roughest of conditions, at a small Patrol Base in Iraq. grass is scarce and our driving range/ one hole is mostly dirt and rock, a perfect opportunity to test the durability of the shoes. Our grounds are uneven, testing the traction of shoes when you hit your ball in a rough position. If I hit it OB, I need to put on full body armor to get my ball back, a perfect opportunity to really test how they hold up under extreme weight. Lastly, and most importantly, I forget to pack shoes to bring out here, so I really need a pair!
Eec55
This would be amazing! I have never won anything in my life. I recently survived a car crash and all i thought about is I would never be able to play golf again! I will be able to but i lost my clubs and shoes in the crash. This would be a blessing. God bless Foot Joy

I'm not going to try to get a pair of these fine shoes. Instead I would like to offer my full support on behalf of armygolfer's request for a pair!! clapping.gif

hey i think i should be one of the 10 because i am a great fan and user of footjoy equipment. I have used many of their golf shoes, golf gloves and golf hats. All of their products are great. All of them have been long lasting, comfortable to wear or use.
My opinion is footjoy is number one!!!
nikelover33
I am the perfect person to test a new shoe coming out. I play or practice every day no matter rain or shine I am at the range or on the course. I am not trying to blow any smoke I would love to play 'em. I have always played Nike or Adidas but I have been on the fence for some time about a pair of FootJoy's so this would be a perfect time for FootJoy to change over another golfer to FootJoy that hits the tracts for 126 holes a week. If the FootJoy SYNR-G can keep my feet the most comfortable and are durable and dependable and most of all playable then FootJoy officially has me. Thanks

I would love to give these a try!!!! I love the looks of them and I am in the market for another set of shoes.

I have over 100 rounds of golf under my belt this year and over half of these I walked. I play in tourneys as well, and would love the opportunity to give these a shot.
This is a shoe that I would buy off of the shelf biggrin.gif

Ryan, as I am in the "industry", don't include me in the contest, but wanted to pass along that I have tried these shoes on and they are fantastic!!! I have mine ordered and they will be coming from FJ as soon as they are released.

Congrats to the eventual winners (and to golfwrx for putting on the contest) and Armygolfer, again, thank you for all you and the others are doing for all of us!!!

Cheers,

I've had numerous pairs of golf shoes and haven't found any that will really fit my feet. I have adidas power bands that medium don't really fit and wide are too wide. Now I just bought two pairs of ecco shoes that feel great in the store but not the same on the course. I just sent those back for a refund. Now I'm back to my 1.5 year old adidas that don't really fit my foot but are relatively comfortable. I need to find a pair of shoes that fit and actually work to keep my feet secure in the shoe and planted on the ground. I am really looking to find a shoe that is comfortable enough to walk 18 on saturday and sunday during the summer and hold up throughout the entire year. Maybe these will be it.
bluetrane
Thank you Footjoy and Golfwrx for this contest.

Everytime I tee it up I choose to walk because of the physical benefit of walking and because it is the traditional way to play golf.

I've tried shoes from every company from Adidas to Puma and never found a shoe that fit well. My feet would start to hurt around the 8th hole and by the end I would have some blisters. I play in all types of conditions and would love to find a shoe that kept my feet dry and comfortable for 18+ holes. Walking up and down Bethpage Black and Red is very tiresome and hard on the feet.

I've seen many advances in shoe technology from every shoe company and would say that Footjoy stays near the top all the time. I would love the opportunity to test these shoes against similar products from other companies as well as the golf course and give a throrough and honest review.

Thank you.

My real bread earning is from being a financial analyst.

As you can see from my reviews and posts (including BST), I do a lot of equipment testing and club reviews for personal game development and for my students.
Mainly, I am always looking for the best and the most accessible equipments.

Most of us tend to follow what our teachers/admirers play with. (Aren't we all wearing red shirts on Sundays? tongue.gif )
In 2006~2007, I was introduced to MacGregor golf clubs, and over 70% of my students became MacGregor users including myself.
In 2008, after demoing Adams and Mizuno (Nike and Titleist were close seconds, but too $$$), I started recommending Adams for beginners and Mizunos for better players.

What I play & what I am equipped with can and will affect many players.

I'm in Chicago until mid-January, but still play a couple of times a week whenever the snow clears, no matter what the temperature - seriously. Feb-April I'll be in Boston where it's just as chilly. So, I'm probably one of the few WRXers who can give an honest assessment of how they perform on snow, ice and frozen turf. If the sole is a sturdy as it looks it'll be very handy for driving a tee into the rock-hard ground...

Long-time Footjoy devotee, in fact Bill Tarlow (they were the Stone and Tarlow Shoe Company before Acushnet bought them) is a playing partner when I'm back home in Massachusetts. Don't think he'd approve of my wearing Classics in this weather:^)

I own and have owned many shoes and am searching for something to comfort the pain I endure with Plantar Faciitis. It can make a round of golf miserable even when riding so please if these are comfortable, I would love to try them.

Thanks.

Well First off thanks FootJoy for this chance. I am junior golfer and us juniors play alot of golf and wear our shoe all the time. In Washington we play in wet and cold. Plus some course are up and down multiply times and that can a difference in weather you like a shoe or not. I been wearing Footjoy for awhile and they hold up I would like to try this new shoes and see how the hold up in the junior golfer enviroment of all the time golf.

Hard to believe but I have been playing this great game of golf since I was 15 years of age. That means that for 47 long years (62 years old now) I have walked 1000's of rounds of golf. And, am still walking, a little slower now, but still walking with my life long friends.....my FootJoys. I have eight pairs of FJ's now and when one pair becomes worn out, I give it to Goodwill and add a new pair to the rotation. I figure my FJ's will take care of me for at least 20 more years of playing the great game.

Would very much like the chance to add these new FootJoys to my rotation and provide a review of how well they stack-up against my older FJ's and some of the other shoes I have tried.

Thanks,
Doc

Thanks to Footjoy for the opportunity. I Have been a loyal Titleist and Footjoy user for many years and love the products but there is only one problem, I AM CANADIAN!!!! It usually takes us a lot longer to get the products and it gets frustrating hearing about how good Titleist and Footjoy products are but not being able to use them for awhile after they have been released.
If I was one of the lucky winners it would be cool to write a nice review about them after using them on my golfing trip this winter!!!!
Thanks again for the opportunity!!!!

Footjoy. What can I say? If there was one word to describe this company. ORIGINAL. Yes, original. They have been around since I first laid eyes on a pair of golf shoes. My dad had a pair of Footjoys and he loved them so much that he used to paint them when they started wearing out. My first pair of golf shoes were Footjoys and I was a loyal consumer of them throughout my junior golf years before going off to college and putting golf on the backburner for a few years. Although many other quality shoe companies have emerged (Nike, Adidas, Ecco, + others), I can only say that Footjoy is the original, old school company that started it all and has continued to produce quality products. The name Footjoy has a reputation that golfers will always respect (hopefully new school golfers as well). Thank you Golfwrx and Footjoy for doing this. I'd love to try these new shoes out!

Never had a pair of footjoys, but always wanted to try. A free first pair sounds good to me.

With feet that are this jacked up, you can imagine how hard it is to find shoes that feel good. I've tried tons of shoes, from tons of makers, & can give a good opinion of what the new SYNR-G shoes will feel like for those of us who can't or shouldn't wear sandals. I usually walk two rounds a week, regardless of the weather, as long as there is no lightning. On top of that I try to get in a few hours a week at the range, so my crusty dogs will really get a chance to see what the Memory Foam & HeelLoc are made of. Plus it's golf season year round here so you don't have to wait 6 months for your review to come in.

All that being said I really think armygolfer should get a pair of these before anybody else. If he doesn't deserve a shot at these then I don't know who does.

(No camera's were broken during the making of this post)

When I saw the video of the shuttle launch on the SYNR-G website I immedatly thought of my swing. What is a shuttle launch? A mix of explosivity, thrust, and unpredictability - the possibility for disaster. This is exactly what I bring to the table. Low Handicappers and Pro players can hit the ball 300 with ice skates on. In order to harness the true potential that my 5 foot 8 210 lb frame can offer is by being firmly rooted to the ground with the latest in shoe technology. The only way for me to achive my ultimate goal of earth spinning twist is to win these shoes, and there are several reasons. My footjoy dryjoys, while a great, comfortable shoe, can not match the new technology. Second, as a struggling law student, It is really not possible for me to purchase such an awesome shoe. But it is my promise that if I win, not only will I attempt to swing out of my new shoes, but also my socks, and if possible, my skin - the greatest test for any good golf shoe. Oh yeah, and I will write a sick review as well.

Congrats to the winners,
Totti

I'd like to try a pair of these, please smile.gif

Have always preferred the look of Adidas Tour 360 model range, but these from Footjoy looks really classy and sporty at the same time ok.gif

Hope I get the chance to test a pair of these in the upcoming outdoor season - thanks for giving us this opportunity good.gif

Especially the black and white looks great pimp.gif

Being a busy and broke student here in Hawaii I choose to walk golf courses and carry my bag every time I play. I do this for the exercise and because renting a cart is outside of my limited student budget. In the middle of the day it can get extremely hot and humid on the golf courses here and by the 18th hole there have been times where my feet feel like they are going to fall off. I need to find a golf shoe that can provide me with comfort and style while still providing a maximum amount of support and stability so that my shots on the 18th hole can be as crisp as my shots on the 1st. To this point I have yet to find a shoe that can adequately fulfill these needs and am optimistic that Footjoy's new Synergy line can deliver the performance I have been searching for.

Please Please Please Please: And if that doesnt work then here is my story: I am 34 years old and have had the artery behind my right knee replace due to a contriction problem and a surgery to my right calf for a misdiagnosis sad.gif . I have been golfing for 7 years, and most of them with foot pain. I have never really had any luck finding a golf shoe that was comfortable enough for me to last 18 holes. I have tried most of them, and the best so far have been a pair of footjoy ecomforts. I would love a new pair of footjoys, kind of a early Christmas present. I would give you a very thorough review if I win, and if they are comfortable for me they will be for anyone. And one last thing, IF YOU PICK ME I WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND.
BILL12x
As a player who mostly plays a course that is cart-path only, or walking with a caddy, comfortable, stable shoes are a necessity for my game. I am a 3 time Club Champion that demands the best support and comfort a shoe can provide to keep me on top of my game.

I have also been a tester of Maxfli products in the past. I would love to be able to get back into a pair of FootJoy shoes to help support my game.
