Anyone here ever use them? Are they dependable?
Joe Peel
Yes. I have bought and sold there and never had a problem.

Just like Ebay, you have to look at the seller's track record.
My husband purchased irons from them and had no problem other than the transaction couldn't be completed online and he had to track them down via phone to pay with his credit card.

i bought my irons there. trust worthy site, but i think there are better deals and larger selection on ebay, plus you get photos of the actual item on ebay.

I have bought clubs off of GCE and Ebay. I find that Ebay almost always has a better selection and better prices. It seems like GCE has a lot of merchants/pro shops trying to unload their overstock, so the prices are not much if at all better than retail.

That being said, I have never had a problem with GCE when I did go with them.

Prices aren't much better than retail. It's like getting 20% off. These guys are unloading their overstocked equipment. Not as good of a selection, this spot is always a last resort. I have gotten a few deals here. E-bay is the way to go.

I really do not like selling items on GCE...they take a large percentage of the selling cost...especially if you have not established yourself as big seller...although making a purchase may not be that bad...Ebay is the way to go!!

i have not purchased from there in a few years, but had safe deals.

Like stated, treat it like you would with ebay or any online transaction and cover all your bases.

No probs here......

Appreciate all the responses. Ended up getting a great deal when the seller lowered his asking price to my highest bid. However, there were issues of trying to link directly to Paypal from their site to make payment, not receiving notifications of being the high bidder and links on the site pointing to incorrrect URLs. Everything went smoothly after payment though.
