I was just wondering how this golf club is. It is Eagle Crest GC in Escondido, California. I think it is close to the Vineyard. I just wanted to know if its nice and are there any little flys or nats like vineyard which are very annoying. Anything else bad or good about the course also thx.

It's been a while since I've played there, but I remember having fun. I don't think it's a terribly long course, nor terribly challenging. I don't remember gnats (don't really remember them at the Vineyard for that matter and I play there every now and then), but I do remember temps in the high 90s.

A friend played there last week and said the course is in great shape. It's been awhile for me but I have played there a lot and never had any problems with gnats. It's a fun course and reasonably priced. Check golfnow.com they usually have some great prices.

I played the course a couple times a year before moving to Texas. I would agree with birdiegirl11. I remember the conditioning being pretty good, but there is nothing that is going to get your heart racing. This is certainly not among the top 10-15 courses in SD county, but a nice afternoon stroll.

it is a great little course that gets a fair amount of play but not too much to crowd or destroy the course. The first couple of holes are tight driving holes with smaller greens that usually. Good Track but nothing too special.
