I'm heading to Vegas from Columbus, and this is my first time taking my clubs on a plane.

I picked up an Ogio Monster Travel bag as well as a Club Glove Stiff Arm. Im also going to put iron covers and maybe stuff a pillow in there, and wrap my towel around the irons.

What do you guys think. I have major OCD when it comes to my clubs man_in_love.gif

Any suggestions, or what is your setup

Thanks

Do whatever you think will keep them safe. My Ping's are tough. I just wrap a bunch of towels around the clubs (like weave them in a around) in the bag and bag carrier. I have only flown with mine a couple times, though.

Bad thing is a bought a girly bag carrier. I have a men's length driver, and it did not fit in the carrier. lol. Hubby had to pack the drivers and I packed the fairway woods.

That SHOULD do it, but Im OCD too.  lol  I use the stiff arm and a club glove burst proof.  I STILL take a WHOLE backup bag.  smile.gif  Backup woods, irons, wedges and putter.  I think that makes me more OCD than you, in case it was a contest. smile.gif
Really though, you should be fine.  I would suggest wrapping a heavy towel or two, instead of a pillow.

Last trip we took to florida, we shipped the clubs via Fedex, it was costly, but insured and delivered on time! clapping.gif

The one time I travelled with clubs I borrowed a friend's travel bag. It was a soft bag and I did not have a stiff arm. I wrapped the top of the bag with a towel or two and stuffed the rest of the bag with clothes. Be careful and weight your bag before you leave to ensure you don't incur extra charges.

I used a tour staff titleist travel bag that is soft, it does not have a stiff arm thing. I used neoprene headcovers on the irons and the normal woods headcovers. I have traveled to and from Cali to Ohio at least twice a year for the last 4 years and I have never had a problem. I do sometimes put socks over the iron covers just keep the shafts covered also. Just remember your socks are in the golf back when you unpack.

i use a padded soft bag and a stiff arm, too. headcovers on Woods/Putter and towels to protect the irons. havent had a problem thus far. Oh, except the time Delta lost my clubs when i went to Hilton Head! Those effers! Never got em back!

Club glove last bag with stiff arm, felt at ease with my clubs in this set up when I traveled back to CT.
