I am purchasing a used but looks brand new and barely touched nike sumo staff bag for cheap. I need to know how to get the guys who's name is on it out. What do i use and how easy is it? Or should I go to an embroirdary (think that is how you spell it) shop and let them do it? how much will or should it cost? Thanks for the help in advance.

I've heard of people having the panel the name is on replaced, but I've never heard of having the embroidery itself removed...

I'd like the hear the outcome and cost though...good luck!

It'll be a tedious job that you could do yourself. But it will have all the needle holes from the embroidery in it when you're done.

I suggest you get a price from Nike on a replacement panel. They usually zip off, these days.

They usually do, but the recent Nike Staff bag ain't one of those....

Have seen it done....not too hard to get the stitching out, but you will still be able to see the name underneath. It was either due to the needle holes or the fading that took place on the leather around the name. The name could still be seen clear as day.....

It may be easier to change your name.

Your best bet is to have new custom patch made for yourself and have it stiched or glue guned over the existing embroidery.

It's not hard to make a patch and glue gun it over.
