Where did that come from? Not a hint of choke down the stretch, just a little adrenaline.

I was really rooting for him today. I like DLIII though, so I don't mind to see him win. Hopefully today was a big break through for Gainey. (No pun intended)

I enjoyed watching that. I was kind of hoping for a playoff with DLIII but how can I root against Davis? Gainey's swing reminds me of my own in a way... a ticking time bomb, lol. He had it working this week though. They were saying in the last 3 rounds, on the back 9's, he way 16 under. I like the way he just controlled the nerves, step up and just rip it right at the stick. It's another thing I can relate to, under pressure, just hit it hard.

Great to see, but sad thing is he won't have his card I think for next year though.

Nick Faldo was befuddled by Gainey's style all day:
* "You look at the posture, the grip, the way he gouges at it, and you think no way, then the ball ends up nestled to the hole."
* On Gainey's ultra quick tempo: "He's like Nicky Price on steroids."

This was actually my first time watching Tommy play, I never watched any of the Big Breaks he was in. The first time I watched him hit a drive I let out an audible 'Oh my god!' that made my roommate come in and see what was going on. This was the drive today that Nick Faldo said he 'scalded'. His posture and setup are funky but he clobbers the ball.

I believe that put him into the top 150. He'll get starts and can receive unlimited sponsors exemption. Depending on how he plays, he'll probably get around 20 starts. Plus he's in the finals of Q-School.

I'm so happy for him. Finally I hope he keeps this up for a solid career. Maybe even...dare I say it...get a win!

Did you all see who his caddy was this week? It was the Big Break 2 some LOL. I wonder how long they have been together? Don seemed to be reading alot of the greens so he was more than just carrying the bag. I seem to recall Don had some high finishes early in the year with the other guy who's name I can't remember right now.

I tell you what. Don can read greens. He's got game, that can't get together for 4 days in a row. This may actually work out.

I was watching last night and he said his putter was failing until he went to the Rife fitting studio. They took him out of a 35" putter and put him in a 34" and helped his alignment. Hopefully this change will cary over to next season and Q-School. I love to see a non-conventional player do well. He is living proof that no one swing makes a golfer, he can pound it when needed.

Now we just need Freddy to win one

Glad to see Davis step it up. I love watching Davis bomb it out there with the kids.

Tommy was talking about getting a new putter that had really helped him out, said he went from a 35" to a 34" I think he said Rife but not sure. Way to go Tommy!

I think Na gave him a try, but Kevin fires everybody if his game falters. Definately wasn't DD's fault. Axley gave him a try and he played much better than he usually does and he let him go. Axley faded after that. Tommy should give his buddy a good opportunity as long as he keeps doing well. DD just needs a stable bag with a decent player and they'll both do well.

I love DD him and Tommy would be great together. The thing I like most about them is there desire to win especially DD, I would love to have a caddy that had his desire! Better yet I would love to just have a caddy. I hope Tommy can capitalize on this finish and keep things going.

Watching TTG's incredible swing, I kept waiting to see my mom's (handicap 36) patented helicopter follow through.
Good to see him cash a nice check - DD too.

I thought I saw Donatello during the coverage on Sunday, didn't know that he was on Gainey's bag. I'll be rooting for him next year, that must have been Tommy's biggest paycheck of his life!

Ditto. I caddied for an am in the Pro-Am and we watched a few players tee off before our tee time. Axley was one of them, and Donatello was on the bag.
