Im sure the only ones reading this or caring about this will be DL3 fans, but I too just want to say Congratulations. How awesome is it that he won. He is a well deserving champion. I would just absolutely love to see Davis don the green jacket!!!

Always liked DL3...I wonder why he hasn't won more with his skill? Of course, I wish I could just be in the top 125. Very difficult to win on any tour!

He pulled it out- proved he wasn't a fluke this season. Looks like he's finally got his game back on track.
I'd like to see him make the President's and Ryder Cup teams, upcoming. I liked what he said when he was suggested as the next Ryder Cup captain (I'm paraphrasing)... "Captain? I want to
make the team!"
I will say this though- if Gainey had won, it would have given all of us common folk hope that we could one day play with the pro's. Alas, it is not to be.

I am sure one day when his career is winding down or he is heading to the Senior Tour we will find out that his physical condition, mainly his neck problems, are what probably kept him from winning more. As a neck injury sufferer, (my squad car was rear ended by a DUI driver 20 plus years ago), I can say that when the neck isnt right the swing goes into the toilet. Thank God for my chiropractor...once every six weeks and the insurance covers it.

I went crazy when he made the putt on 17 behind some college kids that were there for Steve Marino, and then I saw his up and down on 18 from the fairway to win. What a fantastic finish.
