In light of the recent events involving a certain Mr. Kim in a recent tournament, I was just wondering - do major sponsors get to let "their guy/gal" know how they feel?
I'm not sure how they go about venting their frustration too. Anyone with insight or experience ?

next to winning, being DQ'd gives you the next most press coverage so I bet the sponsors are happy about it

Most of the time if something needs to be said, it gets said to the agent. That is what the agent is paid for...delivering the bad news not just the good news. With the agent in the middle, hot heads on both sides can be shielded. As for the AK incident this week, I don't think a sponsor will say anything, they just don't have any ground to stand on. Now if AK was missing commitments or an appearance, then they have a point. But getting DQ'd at a tournament over some carelessness..well, it's not like John Daly.
