What are the best winter golf gloves? It's starting to get cold here, but no need to stop golfing. I am looking for something that is more playable than warm, but warmer than a regular glove.
Thanks
brycerudd
Just get some big mittens and where them in between shots. Your hands will stay warm and you won't lose any feel with bulky gloves.

Or.. I have also used FootJoy waterproof gloves. They work pretty good.

The FJ rain gloves are nice, but upgrade to the new FJ winter version. VERY nice!

I too wear the rain gloves. They're pretty amazing!

I had them in my bag all season and I was really surprised when I finally had to use them a few weeks ago. I was able to play in the rain w/o having to worry about my grip at all.

I've also used them on a few chilly mornings and they were great. If it's really cold, get some of those hand warmers and put them in your fists between shots.

I wear the Under Armor cold gear golf gloves. Nice and toasty!

FootJoy Winter-sof is probably the best cold weather glove.

The FJ Rain gloves are very good. The FJ winter gloves are MUCH heavier.

Mizuno's winter glove is nice. That is what used last winter here in IL.

FJ's winter/rain offerings are very good and I'll second the fellow who recommended the mizzy gloves they get the job done up here in wisconsin.

Best I've had are Sun Mountain "mittens"

--- water-resistant, Teflon-coated microfiber shell, microfleece lining, and zippered pockets that hold hand warmers ---

you can't hit shots with them on, but I'd rather duplicate how I normally play and these are easy to slip hands in and out even with my glove on - I went up one size to make it easier. Got handwarmers cheap at Costco and the combo is perfect.

--- mitt attaches to the cart handle (or a riding cart's steering wheel) with Velcro straps ---

A strip of velcro runs across the palm of each mitt and you get two removable velcro staps that attach to a cart handle or steering wheel. Great for holding the mittens when you take them off. Some golf bags have place where you can velco a golf glove and that would also work with these mittens.

+1 for mizzy winter gloves. If its cold enough I use some turtlefur titleist cartmits between shots too and I'm pretty comfortable.

the FJ wintersof gloves are excellent, as are the raingrip gloves... that being said, if warmth is the primary concern wintersof's are the way to go. id be interested to try the UA's as well as all of their products seem pretty solid...

Give the Isotoner gloves a try, nice tight fit, good feel, pretty warm

i reccomend Wintersof but also get handwarmers. Try doing some research too-the best gloeves you find may not even be in the golf section (thats how i got my waterproof pants [yes they work fine])

Under Armour Coldgear Running Back/Receiver gloves.

The best I have ever had.

I also have the Under Armour cold gear gloves. They're made of mostly neoprene on the outside and the palm side still gives a good grip. I tried on a lot of different brands when buying them and the UA's seemed to have the right mix of warmth while not being too bulky. I can still interlock my fingers while wearing them.

I did see a nike glove in a sporting goods store the other day. It was in the skiing section, but it looked and felt like it would be excellent for golf. Not sure what it was called.

i use the footjoy fleice mittens and put the hand warmers inside them.then roll then up your sleeves when you go to hit a shot. it still keeps your back of your hands warm when hitting though, but you have the feel of you fingers thought. nothing hurts worse than when your fingers are freezing and you blade one

The Footjoy Weathersof are very good. I just bought a pair and tried them out last week. Very nice, well made, and they even have a slot for your tee so you don't have to fumble around in your pocket for your tee. I only used them for the first four holes because it warmed up after 10:30, but they worked very well. clapping.gif

i play these also, however they are a little bulky for me. i have considered just getting a right hand glove and playing regular gloves instead. who knows what i will do.
