Hey, just picked up an old anser putter from a yard sale. Its in OK shape, but was thinking of sending it in and getting it refurbished by PING. anyone had any experience with this, or have any pictures of them having done so? Will they do a no charge? I heard they do this sometimes.

Hi
It will depend on the material, if its BeCu Berrylium Copper, or BeNi Berrylium Nickel. i think that kind of service is not possible due to the composite (Berrylium) being dangerous. If its Manganese Bronze or Stainless Steel I think a refurb is possible, but you may also find it satisfying to have a go yourself, depending on the condition you could simply polish it or you could game with it as it is for a while.
Have you got any pics??
This is a non-Ping related refinish Anser
