Here's a quick view of my putter. It's kind of a Del Mar ripoff (inspired by??). It still needs some refinement - it's too heavy, also thinking of trimming up the side where the neck will be. Not sure what kind of neck I'd like to put on it. maybe a centershaft or maybe a heal shafted santa fe style.
It's kinda fun messing around with new designs. The eMachine's software is pretty easy to learn, there are some good videos on their site, enough to get started. A lot of trial and error.
The bad thing is, unless you're building a bunch and selling them, it is certainly not cost effective. The design attached costed out to over $300 for one. The price drops a lot depending on the number of pieces you get, I think 3 were under 500. Still, it would be more of a novelty than trying to save money.
That's pretty cool looking....The best part of all is if you have EMachine mill your putter it will look exactly like your CAD's, they do great work..........
