I'm currently searching for a new putter and was wondering if there were any putter that had a similar design to the scotty cameron Circa #1.

I would purchase a Circa #1 but my brother has one and I'm trying to avoid buying the exact same one as him.

Second the ZB. Great putter in all aspects (weight, feel, durability, aesthetics, etc; though lots of this is personal). Got one myself and have no reservations in recommending it.

TP Mills has a pretty good Circa 1 replica too. It precedes Scotty's Circa series by a couple decades. biggrin.gif

You can find cheap Studio design 1 from Cameron on ebay, they're very similar in shape.
I like it better than the Circa 1 (better feel, more feedback on long putts, better finish,...), and the more I look at it, the more I think that the Headcover, shaftband, grip, finish and paintfill combo from the Studio Design were some of the best Scotty ever made.

That ZB is awesome. I tryed it for few putts and it was something. Really soft feel.

AMEN, I was not very happy with the circa 62 series putters. The studio design 1 is the best putter I have ever had. I only wish they would make a #2 in LH.

Taylormade Imola is a pretty good cheap alternative, but not as soft.

The new TM/Kia Ma Imola looks quite nice and is supposed to be soft (but not cheap):

Thanks for all the suggestions!! It's was really helpful and saw some really nice putters. My friend offered to sell me his sc Coronado for a good price(150). It has some custom work done to, if anything I'll 'ho' me another putter just to have two good.gif

Bettinardi BB10 -- if you can find one.

+1 for the TP Mills One. It has become an absolute gem in my putter arsenal. Quite honestly, it's 1 of my 2 "gamers".

TP Mills One is my new gamer, it is totally money, point and shoot for me - I shot a new personal best with it today - I had kind of a poor green-reading day today but the thing went exactly where I pointed it all day and the speed control is better than anything I have ever tried - I had 30 putts today which is not great for me, but of those 30 I would say 9-10 were putts inside 12 feet that touched the edge of the cup and lipped out. Normally I would push or pull those putts so that they wouldn't even touch the cup and I would have no confidence.

The important thing is that every putt inside 15 feet, I had absolute confidence that it would drop, and was shocked when they didn't, and that is what I look for in a gamer, because it is hard to make putts when you step up to the ball knowing you are going to miss.

Old school Maxfli TM series. Should fine one on ebay.

NIKE unitized RETRO. Its the backup to mt Circa #1 and i love it. I know its a unitized and many ppl hated those putters but i would say its worth a try and because they kinda flopped in the retail market you can get then pretty cheap now.

Cheers

Would you consider a matched set -- chrome prototype and black tour putters - from Bobby Grace?
(sorry, proto pics not loading)
