I'll be staying at the Days Hotel downtown for the marathon, and am planning o hit Thousand Oaks. Anyone have any idea what a cab ride might run? Trying to figure out if I'm better to rent a car or cab it. Theres 50 of us on a bus, so unless I can talk the bus driver into driver....lol....

I feel that renting a car would be cheaper. Cabs are a real hassle as there are not a lot of them. Plus if you have a rental you can get to other places as well, and it is not like parking costs you 40 bucks like in Chicago.

I'd like to rent a car, the problem I am running into is that we get into town afte the rental shops that are downtown close, and they don't open until the time I would tee off......so I'm not sure how well a rental car will work out....
