Full Version: Headed to Bandon Dunes this Friday
i am stoked to be heading up there. have tee times Sat-Wed at Bandon Trails, Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes. Weather looks a little dicy with some rain coming in but this is my first time up there so I am ready for what ever mother nature throws at me. anyone have and stories or things be on the look out for. thanks.
Have dinner at the crows nest in town if you like seafood!!!

A few thoughts
1) Ask for Sasha
2) Pack some weed for the caddies........cheaper then cash tips
3) Meatloaf in the Pub
4) Bring some swim trunks.......sauna and hot tub at the lodge, even though I don't think it's mentioned anywhere
5) Play the Par three course
6) Try like heck to get on Sheeps Gate, then don't forget the beer!
7) If your spikes are sort shot, then have them change them for ya......cheap, like $5 for both shoes and a they will clean your shoes too!
8) Be a spounge and soak it all in BIG time
9) Don't play the Trails more then once
10) Double or Triple all bets on the 14th tee on the Trails course, only IF you are a gambler, because you might win and you might lose there......Dog of a hole. You might win if you can hit a perfect 3 wood and a spectacular wedge shot and hope it does not find the snowboard hill behind the green even after a good shot.
11) Don't go into the gorst

Eat at Badnon Trails, too. The food there has an asian influence. All good food. And do the breakfast buffet in the morning.
