I was reviewing the usual suspects (Clicgear, Sun Mountain and Bag Boy) when I stumbled across this:

http://cadywell.com/home

Has anyone seen or had a chance to use one of these? It looks like it folds compact like a Clicgear. I just don't have any appreciation for the construction, materials, durability, etc.

Any insight would be great.

I looked at their instructional video on youboob:

Looks like it has some cheesey parts, especially the pulling out of the wheels to fold them over. I would say if this came out 3 years ago it would have filled the Clicgear slot after a bit of beta testing... now? Clicgears are inovative and very well made which is why they're rated so high.

Yeah looks like a cheap Clicgear.

I don't agree with the previous posters. I don't think the rear wheel design is cheesy at all. I don't know what gives you the impression that it's a cheap Clicgear.

The frame looks just as solid as bagboy and sunmountain offerings. The wheels are foam filled, and maintenance free with a narrow wheel-base. That should make those who have complained about the Clicgear v2 not rolling as smoothly as v1 because of its (v2) wider wheel-base.

I have not had a chance to personally take this product out on course-trials. Still, I'm not so quick to casually dismiss a product as cheesy or cheap.

Looking at the number of plastic folding parts and the gage of the aluminum tubing it isn't as durably constructued as the clicgear unit- I can see numerous potential failure points-particularly the axle and wheel fold mechanisms-where a heck of a lot of load is going to be seen during operation. On the whole it looks flimsy to me-and a fairly obvious attempt to get around patents that have been assigned (or are pending) for the Clicgear mechanisms

PingG10, based on your informative post, I have to agree with your assessment of this cart. Thanks for taking the time to qualify your position. I stand corrected.
